Hello, thank you for your enquiry we do not have a specific picnic area in the gardens but are happy for visitors to use the benches etc for eating their packed lunches. You are missing out however on our cafe's, where we produce fresh homemade food and cakes every day.

There is disabled parking here. We do not treat wheelchair users as idiots as we have many regular customers who use wheelchairs and I am sure if they were treated as a nuisance they would not frequent our establishment so regularly. With respect to the gardens, we do inform our customers that we do have slopes here and some bridges but we do have a wheelchair route which avoids the bridges, but unfortunately this is a well established garden, dating from 1924 and therefore the paths are not all flat. If you do have a problem at any time during your visit to the gardens, we are more than happy for you to call the ticket desk and a gardener will come to your rescue.

I love Compton Actes because they welcome dogs , as a member of staff said to me "Dogs do not fiddle" ! 😀

yes there is the car park and children under 4 are free,Adults £7.95,children over 4 £4.25

There are a collection of themed gardens, including a heather garden, water garden, Italian garden and Japanese garden. It is stunning!
