What amazing people that run and work at this centre, every little thing throughout the day is thought out and is focused on entertaining both children and adults alike.

Took the Grandkids for the easter activities which included them grooming the horses & walking the ferrets both of which they absolutely loved, no entry charge all they asked for was a donation, where else can you take the kids for a hands on experience with the animals for no charge so please give generously as they totally rely on donations & volunteers to keep the place running, there's a very basic cafe offering light refreshments not overly priced, a Gluten free cake option & dairy free milk like oat milk would have been nice as its really difficult with allergies trying to spend money on some lunch to support places, hopefully on our next visit in the school holidays there might be something, but if you have allergies take a picnic to be safe! All in all a brilliant day for the kids, they can't wait to return!

you need to take this place for what it is - essentially an animal rescue centre that opens it's doors to the public rather than somewhere that is primarily a business aimed at offering an attraction.
The centre is entirely run by volunteers who know and love the animals they provided a detailed talk about the background of each, and grooming and feeding .
The animals have a range of backgrounds and many have long term health issues but are loved and cared for.
The predominant feature is horses as the name of the centre would suggest but there were a range of birds( owls, hawk, lovebirds, kookaburra, ducks and fowl) , goats, llama's, and pigs.
Entry is free and donations as you see fit- we were here about an hour an a half so it is not a full day activity but as a non-charging visit you can hardly criticise the value

Very welcoming and helpful staff and volunteers. If I were ever to win the lottery, I would help this place out massively. Animals are so well cared for and just generally a lovely visit.

We took disabled residents to the centre as advertised as being opened. After long drive only to find it closed. Poor residents very upset

This is a fantastic place with opportunities to get close to its residents. We arrived at about 2pm as we'd been incorrectly told it shuts at 4pm (it shuts at 3).
Free entry, they have a bucket by the entrance for donations, which they desperately need, some of the residents need specialist veterinary care.
I did something I'd never done before, I helped Bath two of their biggest horses! Bosun and Pierre, both huge gentle giants, giving them a good scrub and hose down alongside one of the dedicated volunteers. As a 'reward' I got to lead Pierre (he was actually following Bosun, I was just there for show) back to the field.I fell in love with both of them and it made my holiday!
It's a bit of a magical mystery tour to get there, but well worth a visit as you can get as close as you want to these beautiful giants.
In the words of Arnie, "I'll be back!"

While I support the objectives of this centre to act as a sanctuary for horses, the visit here was disappointing; we spent only 30 minutes at the centre due to the lack of attractions to see. Didn’t see any birds of prey as advertised on the website. The website also states disabled friendly; however we had difficulty getting my mother-in-law’s wheelchair through the entrance. Not somewhere I will be going back to unfortunately, which is a shame because the objectives of the centre are admirable.

Visited The Medieval Tournament with a friend and what an enjoyable day it was. Charitable organisation that gets little of no help other than by donation. A nice little coffee shop and the animals are loved and well cared for, lots happening throughout the year so check website.

This lovely charity based just outside the picturesque market town of Spilsby is a great place to visit. Run entirely by volunteers and charitable donations, you are able to meet and groom horses as tall as 18.1 hh. All gentle giants. If horses are not your thing then they have Alpacas, hawks etc or a cafe to entertain you . With so many family days out being prohibitively expensive, entrance fee here is by donation only.
