They say adults need to do more exercise cos there getting over weight and unfit but how can you when there no facilities I work all week and want to go swimming in the weekend but I can't there's no swimming pools in Luton yes there's inspire but every weekend the competition pool is privately booked out for competitions main for school kids so have to go outside of Luton if I want to swim absolutely rediculous and unorganized and not everyone wants to go to the gym and absolutely depressing place and when you ring for advice never an answer

Becoming prohibitively expensive now. I used to go fairly often, but now only once or twice a month. I only use the swimming pool. Good facility. However, it's becoming too dear.

We visited briefly (25/1/24) to get a cuppa and snack before heading across to the crematorium.
The lady in the restaurant area went above and beyond with her customer service.

Incompetent staff who feel they are superior than you and complete rude behaviour. My child was enrolled for swimming lessons and on the first day I was advised to pick up his card etc from reception. I arrived 10 minutes early but despite being early the process took too long and it was now 1 minute into the lesson. The reception staff advised to tell the staff that it's the child's first day and I had to sort out the card etc. I was directed to the changing rooms which are not clearly signed whether they're male or female etc. However, my child was already in his swimming attire so merely needed to put his stuff in a locker and head to the pool. But.... Where's the pool, the place is like a maze! Anyway eventually located the pool and went inside and the staff decided to ignore me altogether. It was only when I tried to put my child into the water did they bother giving me any attention. I explained as a receptionist advised but the staff member (who was clearly a newbie) said " the teacher will not let you in if you are over 10 minutes late" I pointed at the clock and said it's only 8 minutes in to which he said I'll see what I can do. He tried but.... The cow who was taking the lesson refused and would not even speak to me despite me standing there and instead intentionally and in the most obvious way possible ignored me. In the end I was obliged to leave and when asked for complaints procedure just directed to reception who then decided to say it's up to the staff member covering the class whether they allow a person in or not. Will I get a refund for the lesson the answer was a flat no I asked for the duty manager apparently there was nobody at that time and to contact via email. My child is now so upset and if refusing to attend any more of the lessons

Nice place with amazing swimming pool, gyms and some classes.
If you pay monthly membership you may be disappointed though. Swimming pool is often limited as its either limited to a couple of lanes as there is not enough staff, or booked by other sessions. The worst - pool is sometimes booked out for the whole day especially at weekends when a working person has got time and energy to come maybe even with their families.
Other cons: usually busy even crowded, only a few classes available not designed for working people very limited selection, short opening hours during weekends for the public although the building is open for some sessions.
Polite note to management - please consider more your regular members not treat them as tie fillers if you pay membership you expect access to facilities and sessions.
Got 3 stars for amazing potential but would get 2 for real accessibility and opportunities for a membership paying member.
Considerinf SLL gym in Houghton Regis or Stevenage any more classes available friendly staff and cheaper - only issue live in Luton so going to other towns is more hussle and time

Recently joined and I have to say all of yet staff are very friendly and helpful. The gym staff actually stop to say hello and ask how you are doing with your workouts. A new gym area is due to open next month which will help when it gets busy. I heard over 100 new memberships so far for January (New Years resolutions maybe 🤔)

I am disabled and took my daughter swimming competition. I didn’t realise disabled parking was not free and was fined £60 because I was 23 mins over the free 4 hours. How awful they are fining people for keeping fit and enjoying a healthy lifestyle.
If they must charge why not have a token system so you pay on exit. This is just a scam to make money.

Really not a good experience at all .......... i have read other reviews about the staff being rude and they are soooooo right........ i just want to have a little swim now and then but do you know what, i'm going elsewhere and itssuch a shame because i live near by

Wouldn't suggest to leave a car in they car park since they simply will lock you in after working hours even if its written 24h and there is no answer or reach them to get out.

Not recommended Stuff are rude nor professional and pool/changing room are very dirty not a great experience overall .

Re: Segregation - Men only swimming.
Will Inspire Leisure Centre, Luton be discriminating against just women or are other groups going to be singled out and banned from swimming at certain times?.
This is supposed to be a community asset promoting a cohesive, open western society not an oppressive one.
