really good park with 2 great playgrounds that my grandson loved, excellent cafe with good, cheap food. clean, well looked after toilets

What a brilliant park, with so much to do. Great views and so many different things. Beautiful lake, basketball, bandstand, duck pond and a skate park to name a few. Go for yourself with a family or a couple or a stroll alone amazing 👏

I love greenhead park, I run and walk my dog but for the past year I have seen multiple rats EVERY time I go, they run freely across paths and into flower beds. Its totally out of control.

Well maintained and well used local park with good facilities including two cafes. good play facilities.

A little gem in the heart of Huddersfield. It was a very hot day and the park was packed with families enjoying themselves. The only problem was where to park, but a local shopkeeper pointed us towards a car park about 7 mins. walk away where you could park all day for £2.

Beautiful park, very well kept. There is plenty of parking. I like how there are different play areas for different ages so the little ones don't get knocked over by big kids playing. There are a few cafes and ice cream stand (ice cream and food in the cafe is pricey though for what it is). Overall great experience and we love coming here.

Great place for walking . Nice and clean park and usually busy . The only disappointing thing was toilets which was closed!!

Always well stocked with plants and well kept . Tidy.
Good facilities. Cafe . Bowling greens 2. Piquant court. Tennis courts 9. Roller skate area etc.
Plenty of open grass areas for picnicking.
Good areas for children’s bikes.
Large pond with wild fowl…. Ducks More-hens etc

I used to walk my dog here, most mornings. However, a homeless, alcoholic, aggressive male in his early 50’s had a pit bull off a leash this morning and verbally abused me (lone female dog walker). So, it necessitated a police report. I feel traumatised. I would urge caution when using this public space. High levels of vigilance are required.

It was our first time visiting this lovely park. Very beautifully well maintained. Lot's for children to do and the dogs enjoyed a nice walk round too. Plenty of ice cream vans and two places where you can get a bite to eat. We look forward to visiting again.

There is a small car park which is pay & display. But all around the park there is free spaces, so better to find one of those & park there.

Not sure but 'Friends Of Greenhead Park'(search Internet as won't allow link) are the group that help run the park with Kirklees council and should be idea to contact them.
Can you use disposable bbq at the park?
