‪Fulfilled a long held ambition to cycle over the great bridge, as part of a tour to Wales. It did not disappoint, brilliant views and startling scale. Cycle track both sides of the roadway, but navigating the details onto it was a bit obscure.‬

‪Severn Crossing‬

‪Drove over the Severn Bridge on the M4 motorway to get across to England to visit a tourist attraction. The bridge looks great and it was a pleasure to drive on it. The views from the bridge is really good. All in all, it is what it is - a bridge to get over the border.‬

‪Gets you out of Wales, so excellent place! Only teasing. It's a great bridge with some great views when the weather is clear. The only thing that lets it down is that it closes so much in the winter months due to wind/weather and takes so much repair/engineering work to keep it running. ‬

‪Wonderfully exiting‬

‪This suspension bridge is rather more aesthetically pleasing than the previously reviewed bathampton bridge. It is also much smoother to drive over than he aforementioned bathampton bridge.

This was a wonderful, exiting experience. Would recommend for a proposal location.‬

‪We stayed in a lovely apartment with views over the estuary and both of the beautiful bridges. Beautiful architecture and we were blessed with great weather so got some great photos.‬

‪A pleasant and nostalgic experience‬

‪My first trip was over 50 years, specifically to see the original Severn Bridge that had just opened. With the second crossing, this is now very much a backwater and I wondered whether the Services were still opened. No doubt aided by the abolition of toll charges, it seems to have enough traffic to justify it’s existence. Very happy with the comfortable surroundings of the Costa facility. Very pleasant service, and I enjoyed the delicious Toastie and 2 cups of tea from the generous pot.‬

‪Prince of Wales Bridge crossing always a special moment ‬

‪We have crossed this bridge many times over the years visiting our Welsh friends and have even had a little daughter cry in the back when we left Wales on the bridge after a lovely weekend. Our last visit was the weekend before the circuit break and as we entered the principality it was the quietest we have ever known. The abolition of the toll has been great as it meant we had to pay to go in though we always felt sorry for the Welsh who had to pay to go home. It’s an impressive structure with great views. It always represents our arrival after a long drive and means there isn’t far to go. ‬
