Appalling decision made on 15th July to cancel a large all day live music event due to the weather. Only 2 hours notice was given, 8 bands and 2 DJ’s were booked to perform a fund raising event in aid of The Samaritans charity. All the bands would have made in depth plans to perform and the organisers had spent a full year promoting and advertising the event. Although the weather was not what would be expected in the summertime the outdoor marquee could have and should have endured the “actual” weather we did experience on that day ( occasional heavy showers and intermittent elevated wind speeds ) if the decision was made by an over zealous health and safety / events manager you should hang your head in shame. I have long been a supporter of NAC but due to this incident I will no longer be attending events at this venue. Anyone reading this review please take note that any event scheduled for the outdoor stage could be subject to cancellation for no good reason.

We had my daughters birthday here and couldn't fault it. They made sure we had everything we needed to decorate etc. We had a wonderful time.

The gig was listed in a rock n roll magazine but it was more American Roots style. Very enjoyable anyway as I like this style too and managed to get a couple of jives in. It was not very well attended. The bar was a bit basic too.

This was my first time at this venue. It's quite small but the acoustics were good, no sticky floors, clean toilets. Bar prices were very good but expect to queue. Fully wheelchair accessible. Small carpark.

Went to Newhampton Arts Centre to a gig by the former Mansun frontman Paul Draper... brilliant night!
This place is a superb intimate concert venue, and doesn't break the bank on drink prices and tickets etc.
Probably the best place for this type of thing locally and I can't wait for next time

a stand by venue while works are carried out on the civic building in wolves..the camra beer festival has relocated here for the past couple of years..lovely clean building and facilities...and to all you know it alls..there is no such thing as pear cider !..it's perry

Most people in Wolverhampton don't know this venue is here, which is a shame as it really is excellent.

I’ve performed here, attended events here and rehearse here regularly with a choir. It’s an invaluable venue in the heart of Wolverhampton, a real hub for the community, that provides a wide range of events and opportunities. The staff and volunteers work hard and it is well worth a visit and support.

First time visiting this venue. Absolutely brilliant, great atmosphere good company. But my only problem was not enough seats, as I have MS I find it really hard to stand for long periods of time but hayho all good. Will be going back

Hi - I'm glad you enjoyed your first visit to NAC for Out of Time.
We do like to leave plenty of room for dancing. However, next time, if you ask a member of staff, they will find you a chair.
We want everyone to feel welcome and comfortable so they can have a good time.

I have used the NAC for many years on and off now. Using the rehearsal rooms to the stage, but also attending sessions of learning there.
Great friendly staff along with generous sized rooms. Fully set up dance studio perfect for classes and a wonderful little fully kitted out theatre. A true gem of the area.
