Pleasant park, and one we frequently visit with friends whilst in Lymington.
The Woodside cafe is also worth a stop off for drinks and a bacon roll on a Sunday morning!

Great park for younger children. Great playground, good for walking/scooting, picnics or kicking balls. The kids loved to play in those bushes.

We love this park and always visit when we come to Lymmington. It always seems tidy and well maintained. There’s a nice play area, adult outdoor gym, fairy doors to find and a small rose garden.

Plenty of parking enable you to enjoy a gentle stroll around the perimeter of this beautiful park. Public tennis courts, skate park and gym equipment also there. Large grassy area to walk the dog. Perfect for all ages to enjoy.

El parque es muy bonito y las cosas mejores en da vida es libre. Árboles, flores, hierba y vistas hermosas, no puedes pregunatar por más.

Lovely well kept park with plenty of open space and little “woods” for children and dogs to play in. Nice, dog free, play area.

These gardens are lovely and beautifully maintained. Covering a large area there’s something for everyone including some lovely flowers and benches for the elderly; a children’s play area (including a skate park) and a ‘fairy trail’ for the really young.’ Highly recommended.

Woodside Park is a lovely open area for children to play football, cricket tennis and much more. However, it is spoilt by dog owners who allow their dogs to run freely and spoil the enjoyment of other people especially children. I recently visited the park with my grandson who was terrified as a dog came charging at him and the owner had no control over it. Fortunately he was not injured but it has left him not wanting to visit the park again. Dog owners should keep their dogs on a lead. Also people enjoying a picnic should not be harassed by dogs coming up to them.

Spent an hour at the park one Sunday afternoon with two young children. Lovely play area; perfect for little ones. A little further exploration from the playground we happened upon some outdoor fitness equipment, very novel and fun to try out and watched a bit of social tennis on the courts. There’s a beautiful rose garden and lots of groups of trees and large bushes to play endless games of hide and seek. I’m sure there’s plenty more to explore and we hope to do this again in the next few days of our holiday in Lymington.

A lovely park for everyone. Children enjoyed running freely and safely then loved the small but well maintained adventure play area. Great outdoor gym facilities and all were maintained. Everyone was friendly and it cost nothing to go. Take a picnic and stay for a while.

I am concerned about the number of irresponsible dog owners. I visited the park recently and my 7 year old grandson was chased by a dog who the owner had no control over. He was very upset and spoilt our afternoon. I would like to see a large area fenced off so children can play safely without being terrorised by dogs. Or dog owners asked to keep their dogs on leads. Could this be done. I will not be taking my grandson to the park again which is unfortunate as it is a beautiful park.
