Please allow me to explain why there is a charge for vehicles - the fee at the gates is a Parkland entry charge and this gives access to 1000 acres of carefully managed parkland which includes our meres and walking trails, ancient woodland and deer herds, a variety of wildlife, access to outdoor leisure activities, the adventure playground, and the Stableyard facilities. Tatton Park is managed and financed by Cheshire East Council on behalf of the National Trust which means that in order to preserve the parkland and carry out the important conservation work that our rangers undertake on a daily basis, we greatly rely on this income. Every penny spent here is vital to ensure that Tatton Park remains for future generations to enjoy, so we really do appreciate your support.
