We went to see the Addams Family performance as a treat. Loved the building and the talented performers. But we felt completely let down that a family show had such heavy sexual overtones. This is why we went to a family show. We don't need to see the performer's arse (never the men's btw). We don't need to see a man and woman writhing over each other and in and out of a bed. Your performers are talented enough. We don't want female performers having to strut around in a thong, a tunic that doesn't cover their arse, fishnet stockings and high heels! We don't need skeleton hands positioned over a female performer's tits and crotch when they're wearing a nude costume. The men don't need to be topless! Again, it should be about the performance. And you have plenty of talent. Why you think you need to drop sex into everything is completely unnecessary. If you're going to list the ages appropriate for your shows, actually make sure your shows reflect that age limit!

Visited the Christmas Show with our adult sons, absolutely brilliant show, we all really enjoyed it, great humour, theme & story, magnificent acts. World class, loved every minute. The building is spectacular, the history. Plan to return again in the summer.

Booked last minute to see the Christmas show. Didn’t know what to expect but it was fantastic. Loved every minute. Phoned the venue to book a seat for disabled access which i would recommend if you have any access concerns. The acts were all great and the venue had a wonderful welcoming atmosphere. Thank you.

Me and my girls, 7, 11 and 47 attended the Christmas spectacular of Friday 23rd December.
The show was superb, the acts were all top drawer, especially the juggler who I thought was phenomenal.
The links between the acts were seamless, with just the right blend of humour to appeal to both young and old, nothing high brow but exactly what is required from a family circus!
Living in Norwich, we feel lucky to have the circus not too far down the road.
Keep up the great work!

Another great show - this time it was the Christmas show. So professional. As it was the Christmas show it wasn't as 'cheeky' as the summer show (more children were in the audience) but the acts were first class and we had an excellent evening.
Shame credit wasn't given to the drummers supporting the acts as they were so good and added so much to the evening.
Highly recommend going to any of the shows, you will have a great evening for 1/4 of the price you pay for a London show and it's just as good.

How could anyone be disappointed weve been only twice and loved it so much we travel from Peterborough and stay over the night to see their show.
I have worked in technical theatre for many years and have never seen such a incredible venue as this, this is what the country should be proud of having here personally this should have a royal appointment and be the Royal hippodrome 😁 incredible venue fantastic shows I hope this place lives on forever we will continue to attend the shows.

We went to the Christmas Spectacular and this was an absolutely brilliant show. Great Yarmouth I have found to be like Marmite with people, but if you have any hesitations then you need to leave these behind and visit the Hippodrome. The Christmas Show is incredible, an amazing mix of dancing, acrobatics, cycling, comedy, music and swimming, you simply can't ask for anymore in a show! I can't believe that I have never been before and now see why tickets are in short supply. It's a great way to get into the Christmas spirit and if you have to choose between this or a panto in a city near by (we've been to that too), I'd choose this show, two hours flew by (unlike the panto in my opinion!)

Wanted to visit this venue and was not disappointed. It was fabulous and we'll worth going to. We saw their spooky Halloween performance. All the cast members worked so hard and were really talented. So impressed. Well done to everyone.
Afterwards we paid £1 to visit the museum there. Overawed by all that was stored in the museum. Even the actual hippodrome itself was wonderful to see alone.

We went to the Christmas spectacular and was excellent. The acrobatics, illusions and water show was something else. Decided to go to the Halloween show and was really disappointed. If your looking for a local panto this is up there but a circus this wasn’t. Hardly any acrobatics, there was no water show just lots of ham panto acting. I really think they should state there is no water show. Really wasn’t worth the money this time

To be honest, my expectations weren’t high, I expected a seaside middle of the road show, but boy I was wrong.
Brilliant from beginning to end. Very professional cast.
Couldn’t recommend more highly.
I will definitely get to another show sometime.

How long is the Halloween show

After about 90 minutes there is a 15 minute interval, then a further 30 minutes. You wont want it to end its a brilliant show.
Will I be out of hippodrome tomorrow for 10-30 pm as I am a wheelchair customer??birmingham

I didnt see any.think as its a staggered seating and as the ring turns into a pool and the loud noises from the motorbikes it would most likely be a no.
