“‪Not an easy walk and NOT flat‬”

‪هذه نزهة جميلة ، ولكن يرجى العلم أنها ليست مسطحة بالتأكيد. أعاني من إصابة في الركبة ، لذا اخترت هذا المشي لأنه تم الإعلان عنه بأنه سهل ومسطّح. إنها سلسلة من الصعود والهبوط بعد النهر إلى البحر. نزهة جميلة ، لكنها بالتأكيد تمثل تحديًا لأي شخص ليس شابًا أو لائقًا. كان الأمر بالتأكيد يستحق العناء ، لكنني لم أكن لأتناوله إذا كان لدي معلومات أكثر دقة. تلميح: قم بالوصول إلى بداية المسيرة عبر الطريق عبر Killington ، حيث أن الطريق الآخر شديد الانحدار وضيق. ابدأ المشي على يسار The Hunters Inn ، حيث يقطع تلًا ضخمًا (حسنًا ، شعرت بضخامة ركبتي المسكينة)‬

‪Not an easy walk and NOT flat‬

‪This is a lovely walk, but please be aware it is definitely not flat. I have a knee injury, so chose this walk because it was advertised as easy and flat. It is a series of ups and downs following the river to the sea. A lovely walk, but certainly a challenge for anyone who isn't young or fit. It was definitely worth the struggle, but I wouldn't have tackled it if I'd had more accurate information.
TIP: access the start of the walk via the road through Killington, as the other road is VERY steep and narrow.
Start the walk walking to the left of The Hunters Inn, as it cuts out a huge hill (well it felt huge to my poor knee)‬

‪Gorgeous place, nightmare to get to..‬

‪As most of the access roads are currently closed to the valley, you have to drive down some very narrow country roads where there are not many passing places. However, once there, the place is lovely. The walk down to the mouth is very pretty and the views amazing. The food at the Hunters Inn was really nice, drinks are expensive though. Well worth the visit, even after a hairy drive..‬

‪Lovely but watch out for ticks‬

‪Fantastic walk to cove. Beware of the ticks though, our dogs were covered in them. 5 days later we are still extracting them. !!!!‬

‪this is a national trust site and we stopped here for 2 nights as we travelled a long way to get there but the staff where helpful and the georgouse lady in the coffee shop was short on change in her till so we swapped her some coins it is a very quiet
spot we had a well deserved rest whle we explored the area just as well you could not see it all in one day but o would recomend this site to everyone
national trust member or not it is well worth a stop and explore‬

‪Must do in Devon‬

‪Populaire bestemming. Er is een wandeling naar de bay langs de rivier. Tevens kan je gemakkelijk een stuk van de west cost Path lopen (bij t bruggetje over het water steken, daarna de bordjes volgen). Je loopt dan stijl omhoog, pittig! Maar uiteindelijk krijg je waar voor je inspanning; een mooi uitzicht over een super spannend paadje. Via de kerk kan je gemakkelijk weer terug lopen.
Afsluiting bij de trust shop of de uitspanning.‬

Easy to walk Mile or so to mouth and sea
Beach stones
Couple of pretty stone bridges to cross river. Photo opportunity
Nothing at beach so take own refreshments‬

‪Heddon Valley‬

‪Lovely, pretty easy 2 mile walk along the Heddon River from the National Trust Car Park. Lovely outlook, and Heddon's Mouth is spectacular. Next time, will definitely stop at the Hunter's Inn.‬

‪Lovely walk, clean toilets!‬

‪Love walk. We did the 9km. It was clearly sign posted. This was a slightly challenging walk. No issue for us but just be warned!!

Car park was £5 for the day, clean toilets. Nice pub!!‬
