‪Great cruise up the river with the very informative ‘Captain’ Jamie. Excellent customer service went above and beyond….. They had a large party cancelled on them but still took only 8 of us up the river for the tour. Thank you and keep up the good work, hopefully see you on the next Gin cruise.‬

‪Lovely , Calming Boat Trip‬

‪My wife and I and two friends opted for a one hour River Cruise on a warm and sunny day. Not for the Budget-conscious , but a most relaxing experience. Very friendly service and an informative and entertaining commentary. The trip takes in all the key sites that can be seen from the River Wear in the area around the Castle and the Cathedral. Drinks were available and the trip was both smooth and comfortable. To be highly recommended if in Durham.‬

‪Cruising down the River - Durham style‬

‪We had a thoroughly enjoyable experience on this mini river cruise. It lasts about 1 hour with onboard refreshments, toilets and plenty of seating above and below deck. You can pay by card as you board the boat. We learnt lots of fascinating facts from the skipper about our surroundings and the history of various buildings were explained in great detail. Thank you for making our visit to Durham special. Happy sailing!‬

‪River cruise in Durham‬

‪2nd Wheatley Hill Scout Troop joined with 1st Peterlee Scout Troop on a afternoon’s cruise on the River Wear. After a shorty but comprehensive safety brief we got under way. The facilities aboard were excellent, the crew where very friendly and kind when dealing with the avalanche of questions coming from the 70 eager children, The food was also excellent and plentiful, our thanks to Jaime, Stuart Elaine Ewan and Stuart J, you did us proud,

‪Excellent River Cruise and BBQ‬

‪1st Peterlee Scout Group hired the Prince Bishop river Cruiser for an exclusive 3 hour trip and BBQ for our "Party on the Boat" joined by our friends 2 Wheatley Hill Scout Group....It was amazing. The boat crew Jamie (The Captain), Stuart, Elaine and Ewen Stuar Jr.were excellent and beside making all our young people very welcome nothing was to much trouble...The quality of the food for the BBQ was second to none with excelent burgers and sausages and all our groups allergies and dietary requirements were fully catered for. THeir was plenty of space for games and music on the lower deck. The boat had toilet facilities which were kept clean and functional throughout our visit...
The safety brief was excellent and at the right level for the younger sections
The time just flew over.
The day itself was clear and dry which only added to the excellent cruise which for some of our Scouts was the first time on a boat.
Mind you one of our Beavers was a little disappointed Jamie as you weren't wearing a "Captains Cap and Uniform and he really thought you should 🤣🤣
It was an amazing experience for our Scouts and we would like to say a BIG THANK YOU to Jamie and his wonderful crew .

‪A perfect Sunday afternoon! ‬

‪Booked the 12pm cruise on a sunny afternoon in Durham and what a lovely way to spend an hour! The crew were helpful, funny and informative and to sail along the river with a glass of wine in hand was just perfect. The boat was so quiet, the water very calm and the scenery wonderful. A very memorable afternoon. Thank you!

‪Lovely cruise‬

‪Pre booked seats on the river cruise as part of our son’s birthday celebrations. We got excellent service from Jamie who took the call, he was very helpful, nothing was a problem. Very efficient, and they’d saved us the front row seats. The other member of staff knew all about our booking when we boarded. Great commentary on the cruise, enjoyed a cool drink in the sun as we sailed. Brilliant, thank you!‬

‪Fantastic river trip‬

‪Booked a private hire for my daughter’s 21st birthday party. From the minute we contacted Jamie, he was helpful & knowledgeable. Nothing was too much trouble. We had a great afternoon with lovely river views and excellent customer service. Highly recommend.‬

‪Glorious river boat cruise‬

‪I’m unashamedly proud of our County City but What a glorious way to see Durham by boat. Leisurely cruise on the River Wear with lots of interesting facts over a clear PA system as we go. Drinks available to purchase (alcoholic and non alcoholic) too which made the experience. A gorgeous 1 hour boat trip where we were blessed with glorious sunshine today and it felt a very special experience. Being a resident of County Durham I always thought I knew most of the facts about our County City, but came away with a good few interesting facts that I loved. There were 3 sailings on the Saturday afternoon and no booking was required £10 pp.‬
