We went on the Beaver Safari with Danièle in early October. Danièle was friendly knowledgeable and gave us an amazing experience to see their lodges, dams and eventually the badgers themselves! The buzz of being able to see the badgers swim out and tend to their dams in the twilight was the highlight of our trip. Danièle clearly has a passion for their preservation and well being and her guidance was crucial in making sure we got to see them. Would highly recommend to any animal lovers.

Perthsire wildlife were fantastic from first contact all the way through to the end of the experience.
It was a very informative evening with our guide Jean on the Winter Beaver Safari. We had been warned we may well not see beavers and were prepared for that. However we did get to see them and it was fantastic learning about them and their habitat as well as a wider view of nature from Jean who clearly had a real passion to share her knowledge and joy of nature. Thank you Perthshire Wildlife

What a great experience!
Danièle was a super guide - it was so lovely to be led by someone who has known the land and it's flora and fauna for such a long time.
We got to see how the beavers affect the rivers and land, before settling down and spotting them coming in and out of the den.
For anyone on the fence wondering if it's worth it, IT IS! So much fun, and will definitely be back for the canoe tour next year :)

Amazing beaver tour! Coming up from London, I was very keen to learn more about Scottish Wildlife. Daniele is an excellent and knowledgeable tour guide, starting off with some ace beaver facts and then taking us around the grounds to spot signs of beavers including chewed up logs, signs of beavers improving biodiversity and some very impressive dams! We ended the tour with watching the beavers swim around their lodge and even a big splash from a tail. Very exciting :)
I would highly recommend these tours for anyone wanting to get outdoors or learn more about Scotland's wonderful wildlife. I feel much more informed not only about beavers, and why they are so necessary to help the climate and nature crisis, but a lot more about Scottish Wildlife as a whole.

We had a fantastic evening sat on the riverside waiting for the beavers to emerge. We were a wee bit worried that they were going to hide from us but the whole family made an appearance and we got to watch them swimming about and relaxing on the bank. It’s a beautiful spot and Joan was a great guide. Highly recommended.

We traveled from Moray on Saturday 24th August for a beaver tour with our guide, Jenna. We were warmly welcomed at the agreed meeting location, and from here until the end of our experience, it was a joy. Jenna is professional, knowledgeable, and enthusiastic with her delivery and is generous with her time when answering questions. Watching the mother beaver with her kits, we were in awe. Thank you for this wonderful opportunity. We will cherish our beaver memories!

This was an amazing experience. Daniele was so knowledgeable, and we learned fascinating facts about Beaver habitat and food sources. We saw so much evidence of the beavers on our walk to the river, and then spent an idyllic time watching the beavers in the water and around their lodge.
Would totally recommend this experience.

My wife and I had a brilliant time on this experience.
Easy to book and great communication prior to the tour. We were provided with all the information to ensure we arrived properly prepared for the tour.
Jenna our guide met us on time at the meeting point. She was friendly and knowledgeable. She provided a good background of area and the beaver families. She confidently answered all questions and held the attention of entire group throughout the tour. It was a short walk to the riverside and along the way Jenna pointed out area's of interest .
On arrival at the riverbank, our group sat quietly and waited for a beaver sighting. We didn't have to wait long until the beavers came out to play. We were lucky and got to observe at least 5 different beavers including 2 very cute babies. We sat happily watching the group grooming each other, swimming and eating away. Time passed very quickly and we happily watched them until the light faded and it was time to leave.
Wonderful experience which I highly recommend.

What an absolutely wonderful experience my husband and I had on your beaver safari! Jenna was a fantastic guide, so friendly and knowledgable - about the local flora and fauna as she led us on a short walk to the riverside, but also of course the beavers - their history, behaviours, breeding, etc. We sat quietly and it wasn't long before 2 adult beavers appeared on the opposite river bank. Very shortly, not one, not two, but three young appeared too. It was a delight to watch them grooming, eating and swimming. If it wasn't for the imminent darkness (and Jenna informing us it was sadly time to leave), we could have sat there all night. A truly magical experience and one we would highly recommend!

Brilliant experience. The guide was very knowledgeable and gave us a good introduction to beavers, their history and future. After a short walk we were at the riverside and got our first sightings of the beavers. We were there over an hour and a half and the beavers were there the whole time. The riverbank in the sun was the perfect setting to see the beaver family and seeing the kits was the icing on the cake. Could not recommend highly enough.
