Played a round of golf with my Dad on 28/10/24 in the morning and it was an absolute delight. We have played here many times over the years and Kingussie always offers up spectacular views across the valley, particularly on 5th and 6th holes. This is worth the green fee on its own in my opinion!
They had recently hollow-tyned the greens (fair enough as we are at the end of Oct) but the fairways were in really good shape and you got good lies around the fringe, which is big plus point this far into autumn. The course was also almost empty- we got round in 2.5 hours for a 2 ball.
We popped in for a quick beer after and met the manager (apologies I didn't get your name)- he was really friendly and was telling us about all the things that are going on at Kingussie GC and the changes coming in, so some exciting times ahead for the club.
All in all, I would highly recommend Kingussie for a fair game of golf at great value, with superb views of the Cairngorms.

Stunning scenery, challenging course but in excellent condition. Staff could not have been more helpful. My two sons and I can't rate the whole experience highly enough.

Possibly the most welcoming and friendly course I have played. The staff were just great, helping us in anyway they could.
The course despite it being October was in great condition. Some very interesting holes to challenge and excite. And, the views were spectacular from many of the holes. Snow peaked mountains and autumn leaves in October.
A lovely little club house, with decent food, wood burning stove on from first thing in the morning, and a good view of the 1st tee and 18th green.
I would highly recommend for all levels of golfers.

Stunning scenery, Challenging, Interesting and most enjoyable. Friendly manager and a lovely wee club house with a wood burning stove.

It was a very nice experience and we had a load of fun. The course was very well upkept. The greens were ariated and were lovely.

A really lovely highland course with some stunning and challenging holes. Great value and well worth the visit and a friendly welcome. Would recommend using a golf cart!!!

Myself and my dad played the golf course for the first time on the 27/09 after reading an article online and the course was stunning. We were welcomed by Ian the golf club manager who gave us a great overview of the course and also about the area. The views from the first tee and at the very top of the hill where the highest point was of the Grampian mountains was amazing and you could see the snow caps clearly! Fortunately the weather held and the sun came out. The course was well manicured and the greens were exceptional and quick. Beautiful golf holes too, quirky, tough, with the streams and river running alongside. I would definitly recommend to anyone wanting to play even if it did make us look like beignners again! A great pint afterwards and Ian again took time out to sit with us and talk about the course and how the club has developed in the past few years. Made to feel really welcome and valued as visitor - thank you.

Top course to visit in great condition. Lovely Victorian clubhouse friendly people. Superb green and great views. Wil come back.

What a find! The course is in amazing condition and the views are outstanding. The staff are friendly and the manager took time to tell us about the history of the club. We will definitely play there again when we return to Scotland.

Course was in excellent condition. Views were spectacular. Staff and patrons were exceptionally friendly and welcoming to 3 guys from the States. Unexpected jewel and distraction while traveling to Kingussie with a group of hunters.
