We have attended performances at Southport Theatre on numerous occasions over the last few years. I made my latest booking in February for a performance on 28th March.
Due to a change in our circumstances I contacted the teatre to enquire whether it was possible to cancel our booking and obtain a refund. I was told that the teatre does not make refunds.
We would advise anybody considering attending the theatre to be absolutely sure they will be able to attend.

using the theatre attending a sport event ,all staff are very friendly and helpful , they a lift run by staff if you disabled to help up . bar service and a little bar for cold and hot drinks and sweets etc, i would return to the theatre if i was attending town again

Recent conference went well but the catering was dire reminiscent of the 1970's. Vegan Noodles sat Lunch, rice for supper. No taste, no texture, no colour, no accompaniments. I complained but Go out and get chips.

I came here last March to see here come the girls show with my daughter and did the meet and greet. We were very close to the stage and had amazing view and a lot of leg space. During the meet and greet it wasn’t rushed at all and the area was very nice too.

Have been coming to the Southport pantomime for over 10 years and always enjoyed it with family of various ages.
This year was so disappointing. From the minute fleshcreep arrived we knew it was going downhill. He was the campest baddie ever seen. Had to laugh at him mincing round the stage instead of booing him for being mean and scary.
Dame was lame and very crude jokes rather than funny.
Whole performance was flat. No memorable gags, no ghost coming up behind, no super soakers running round squirting audience , no chucking out sweets to kids, no slapstick custard pie scene .
Very obvious budget cuts and audience responded by being quiet, disinterested and falling asleep around me. Very lacklustre and really disappointing. Will think twice about returning next year.

Had our work Christmas party 14/12/2019.
Room looked quite good but food was shocking, soup was very bitter, no roast or boiled potatoes on the roast dinner, & a dried up chocolate tart. No coffee unless you paid extra for it. At £50 ahead was not good.
DJ played rubbish music and staff were very un organised there was no atmosphere at all and most of us left early.
We have been for the last 2 years and it was always brilliant but unfortunately we wont b going again

good actors very funny. but no notices on the front door to say this is where you go in,had to go and ask,food was dreadful,..staff were brilliant,.oh and the place was very cold,could have been better,

Fabulous show, could have watched it over and over!
Theatre seating is very tired in places, some seat arms are in desperate need of replacement.
Friendly staff, easy parking next to the centre in pay and display car park.

Really enjoyed his show.
I totally get that the review is for the Southport Theatre so what can I add?
Clean, spacious, airy.... not enough ladies toilets.. apart from that, all good.
I wouldn't enjoy a drink in a plastic beaker from the bar however.

we attended a Brexit party rally at this venue and found it to be well organized and sufficiently marshaled as we were lead in the direction of the seating area---my only complaint was that they had shut the bars by the time we came out just before 9pm---nearly 2000 thirsty customers deprived of the opportunity to have a drink and a chat with like minded people was missed as well as the tills ringing for the venue.

Yes 10 minutes walk!!! we stayed at the Premier Inn and that was our plan after having a meal next door in the pub, But the day we were there it was chucking it down and blowing a gale so had to get a taxi and got soaked on the way back from theatre.

for the people who are hard of hearing the theatre has a sennhesler infra red loop system. try and sit near the front if you need it

Hi can somebody tell me,is the rear stalls upstairs in the theatre.We have tickets in row u but it says restricted view.

thinks its only restricted if you're tiny or a child, Its basically the back half of the theatre but you're at the front of it. If you're not very tall or with kids ask the staff nicely if there's any chance you could move if there's availability elsewhere.
