Took my ten year old grand daughter to hit a few golf balls at the practice area and enjoyed the experience. The golf shop people were very friendly and the shop was well stocked. There is a small cafeteria there but we did not use the facility.

Popped in here for lunch. Great selection on menu from snacks to main meals.
The surroundings were lovely, and the staff were very attentive. The meal looked and tasted delicious. Would definitely go back again .

With only limited time to spare, I went to try the driving range and although I didn't try it , judging by its popularity I'd guess it's pretty good. The 9/18 hole course wasn't too busy (10am) so I hacked my way around there instead - brilliant. There's also a pitch 'n' put course and a practice putting area. I didn't try the cafe but it has its own listing on here too.

This is a lovely little place. There are 2 courses. A par 3 mini course with 9 holes ranging from 70 yards to 132 yards which is perfect to tighten your short game or great for kids. It’s kept in very good condition and good fun. It’s cheap too - £6 for adults and £3 for kids. Then there is a par 35 9 hole course which is also decent. Good greens, a par 5, a couple of par 3s and also in nice condition.
The clubhouse and bar (and American Golf shop) are small and a little pricey but acceptable for the course.
The problem comes in online bookings, using the courses own website. It’s 2018, so booking online should be easy. The site is simple to use but doesn’t actually seem to link to the club - so you book a tee time, turn up and the course doesn’t acknowledge or recognise your booking. And you are supposed to know that Sunday is the morning when the ladies play (?) so you can’t get on as it’s full. Madness. In this day and age that’s not acceptable - and somehow this became my fault! All very odd. So go for the golf, but in true Scottish style, don’t expect any service or warmth. And we wonder why golf courses are struggling to attract youth....

Today my husband and I had lunch in the Bistro at Brucefields, Stirling. Lovely surroundings & the food was good. The girl who served us was so pleasant & very friendly.
After lunch, we headed to the American Golf store next door, where we were served by the assistant manager, Jimmy.
What a very helpful and knowledgeable young man he is! So much interesting information about the products he sells. He certainly knows his stuff !
After my husband bought what he needed, we returned to the Bistro for coffee & cake. I have to say their coffee is among the best I've tasted!
All in all....a very nice, relaxing afternoon - thanks to the lovely staff at Brucefields !

We've been here countless times for golf lessons with the resident pro, Gregor Monks, who is outstanding at his job.
The driving range and course is well maintained and very welcoming.
The restaurant and coffee in particular are fantastic. Probably the best coffee around, in my opinion and the soup and sandwich my wife and I had yesterday was excellent.
Drop in, play a round and have a meal at the restaurant. You won't regret it.

Had a wonderful couple of hours around this golf course with our boys who enjoyed it immensely. The staff were very helpful and the fees were very reasonable. A really lovely course and ideal for a family activity.

An amazing golf centre. Not only has a 9 hole course but also has a par 3, 9 hole course. A very impressive clubhouse with good changing facilities, a bistro/bar serving food all day and a fully stock American Golf Discount Shop. Cost was £12 for 9 holes. Courses were in excellent condition and didn't feel like a little 9 hole course. My husband and I are experienced golfers but the 9 hole course tested us. There were lots of children on the Par 3 course, but just as many adults too. Bistro was very well staffed with a friendly server. We only had tea and scones but she took the time to warm the scones through and couldn't have been more helpful. We will be taking our 9 year old grandson there for 9 holes on the Par 3 course several times over the summer.
