my grandson loved it here he was amazed at all the different reptiles that he saw and was so full of questions we didn't know if we were going to get out before closing the staff were amazing and very patient

Amazing experience with the most friendly and knowledgeable host! Me and my partner had the most amazing time and absolutely adored all of the animals. So worth the money - a complete steal! Best day ever.

We found this place by accident when looking for a place to take our snake obsessed child.
Great place, lots of different reptiles to see and the owner clearly loves them all. We went for the more in depth session, which lasted a good 2 hours. You get to sit and handle all the animals and each of the reptiles is clearly used to it - all very placid.
approach is very good, small slow tortoise to start with, building with bigger and bigger reptiles. Feeding the bearded dragons live meal worms is fun!
we were lucky enough to not only meet Melanie the Burmese python, but also the Iguana (imagine a friendly cocker spaniel that's a reptile). While there are spiders - you don't have to hold them.
Overall a great experience, from a really nice and knowledgeable owner, with all the animals well cared for.
Fairly priced, and something entirely different for the family. Saundersfoot itself is a lovely spot, with plenty of nice cafes and food places. So you can make a whole day out of the visit. Highly recommended, and good that all the visits help this reptile sanctuary keep running.

We Had such a great time yesterday..would highly recommend this place..so educational and helps people to overcome their fears. Very rare to get to hold and be close to such amazing reptiles.. Loved it...❤

Amazing experience.. Took my two grand daughters age 9(not really into reptiles) and 13(absolutely loves them)
On arrival Sunday around 1.15 traveling from Swansea disappointed to find it closed. So rang the phone number on the entrance door. Be with you in ten mins he said. Impressed so far... paid £35 for the 3 of us & £15 adult £10 child for the two hour experience(which was worth every penny) What an incredibly amazing two hours we spent there...Hands on experience with a small Boa, a large Boa, water dragon, bearded dragon and much much more. My eldest grand daughter was in her element and the youngest enjoyed but was a little nervous. You get to feed some of them too. Ian the owner was full of knowledge and funny stories we were completely entertained for the whole time. Two hours flew by. What an amazing experience 100% recommend it.

Had a brilliant time this afternoon at the Reptile Experience. Ian is very knowledgeable about his creatures, We met some very friendly iguanas & others and, despite being naturally nervous of snakes, I felt very relaxed with the 2 we were introduced to. I held Will, a small Royal Python & even ended up with Melanie, a Burmese Python, draped around my neck! Her choice, but I wasn't scared :)

Visit made with grandchildren on their stay over the half term holiday. To say that avery enjoyable time was had by all of us is an understatement!. Plenty of time was given to each child to have a close look at the reptiles bought out,and if they desired to handle them. Advice on handling and information on the reptiles was provided(patiently) by the very cheerful "keeper" who was happy to share his knowledge on the exhibits.
As a result of this visit our grand children have now convinced their parents to provide them with their own beared dragon and a vivarium.
A visit is highly recommended!

Myself and 2 young granddaughters went and thoroughly enjoyed it,it was really interesting and educational I would definitely recommend this experience for most ages (not under 4 years old) everyone there appeared to enjoy themselves.My grandchildren loved holding the reptiles.

What a fantastic place to visit and have an experience with a wide range of reptiles. We would very much recommend this to everyone of all ages. We had a fab time.
Experts talk you through the different reptiles and you get the chance to have a hands on experience.
Easy to find and is not far from Tenby.

A really amazing and quite different experience tucked away near Saundersfoot Harbour. The 2 hours rushed by as the children were enthralled by each and every creature. Well worth a visit

We have had to suspend encounters for the time being due to the Welsh governments latest insistence that masks must be worn in shops and indoor attractions.. It's obviously not possible to get the virus while eating or drinking as this rule doesn't apply to pubs and restaurants. I cannot present the animals with a face covering as I can't breathe properly. I had to close from March to mid August due to the lockdown.. Restrictions were eased for a while, so up until this week I could operate and welcome 2 families per encounter, but as of Monday the 14th the new rules have meant that the doors are closed again temporarily.

Hi, I have been trying to book a slot for this upcoming week, however I haven't had any contact, I have left messages and emails! I really would like to visit! This places looks amazing!

Hi there, the facility is very small yet very busy. It's run by one super passionate owner who is busy with customers most of the day.
we found we had to ring around 3-4 times to get to speak with the owner, which at first was very frustrating but when you get to speak to the guy nd eventually visit you can understand the situation. he could ideally do with a youngster answering the phone etc..

I'd like to know what kind of spiders you have. I'm trying to get over my arachnophobia before visiting our family in Australia and thought it might be good to see some big un's - live!!

We have just the one resident spider... Gertrude the Chile Rose Tarantula,who though not a giant, is suitability big and hairy. :)

It's £8 for adults and £5 for children and concessions. We are running encounters daily at 11am, 1.30 and 4pm.

Sorry, but we are quite a small establishment and we don't know how our animals would react. For the safety of our animals and visitors, dogs are not allowed.
