Trestle- the current play is a two hander. A gentle and perceptive play exploring the relationship between Harry and Denise. The music score is a delight but the showstopper comes just before the interval Well worth the journey.

I attended a show here on Friday the 30th of July with some friends and I must say what a pleasant surprise, I said to my friends, you just don’t realise a little gem like this is virtually on your doorstep, it’s not a missive theatre I think it seats around 186 people, after entering we were told to sanitise our hand our tickets were checked and we were instructed how to get to our seats, all staff were extremely pleasant and helpful, the theatre is set on Godstone Rd in Caterham and is a two minutes walk from the train station and the bus stop, I understand there is a bar there too but I don’t recall it being open on this occasion, all in all a very pleasant experience.

This theatre is a real treasure, originally the old school of St.Johns Caterham.
Its been beautifully refurbished. Its quaint and quirky.run by volunteers.Theres no mistaking its charm .
We went to see the railway children, the famous novel and film.we took three teens with us that at first said this will be boring!.....it was definitely not Boring! We all had good fun! Brilliant acting.well dramatised...and adapted for stage.
Colourful characters and captured all the story in its brilliance. Well done for booking such a good production!
Visit the theatre you will enjoy the experience...and it's a cheap night out cost us £11 per ticket...£1 per programme.good comfy seats.....snacks available from between 70p and £1! Plus alcohol and non alcoholic beverages much cheaper than pub prices! Tess and coffees £1 Inc biscuits! What more can you ask!?

Thanks for your positive review of our production - glad you enjoyed the whole experience. Value for money is important to most people these days, and we like to think that it is part of the "wow factor" of coming to the Miller Centre. You've picked up on how we can do this - we have some of the best "amateurs" in the local Am-Dram community (quite a few who have been - or should have been! - professionals) supported by an army of volunteers who run our Box Office, serve drinks, check tickets and so on. It's been this way for over 40 years: the seating may be new but our principal value - Quality Productions at an Affordable Price - remains the same. We hope you can come again!

Went to the theatre on Wednesday evening to see An Unexpected Guest, great acting from all the cast. The leading lady was very professional, lovely venue.

The Miller Centre Theatre is small but produces some excellent plays, musical events etc. and are a reasonable price. Once you have registered with the website you can easily select seats and book tickets on line. Theatre seats are comfortable with good view of the stage, there is a small bar and all the staff are friendly and helpful. Parking outside can be an issue but there is plenty of parking a short stroll away in the upper level of Morrison's car park.

Many thanks for your kind (and accurate!) comments. You are right: parking can be a problem, but our friends at Croudace Homes in Tupwood Lane (400 metres away) kindly let us use their staff car park when there is a show on.
BEWARE: Morrison's (AKA Church Walk) car park is frequently locked up before our evening shows finish, and you have to raise the security staff to gain access. Church Walk car park is fine for matinee performances, but check the signs for parking duration - the fines are hefty!

Saw "The God of Carnage" last Thursday. Brilliant production with changing dynamics. Great performances from the four actors who maintained their drive and energy throughout. A very professional production

God of Carnage was very well received by those who "risked" seeing it. It was a tough, hard hitting play, the sort we do from time to time because the writing is so good. Thanks for giving it a go, and for the positive review.

This small theatre in CaterhamValley regularly puts on amateur productions to a very good standard. It is a small gem to be valued by those of us in the neighbourhood. We recently went to see "London Suite" - four short plays by Neil Simon, which were amusing and well performed by the talented cast. The theatre was comfortable, we checked in our coats and the bar was open before the performance; free coffee was available during the interval.
