The trip advisor pictures showed nice, newer carts. Kiplin's website showed nice newer golf carts. I rented the basic cart (not a high roller) and expected a regular golf cart like I'd have at any golf course or golf rental company that I've driven before.
Instead I got a cart with rust all along the steering column, wheels that were low profile (instead of regular tires) which meant I felt every bump and hole as we drove around the island. The side plastic piece was falling off (see picture). The forward-reverse level was stuck or jammed so I had to force it to the point I thought I'd break the lever.
When I reached out to both numbers I was given for help or to get a new cart neither replied. I sent an email to the person I made the reservation with and didn't receive a response until after I'd dropped off the cart.
Bait & switch. Disturbingly bad customer service. I wouldn't recommend them, even as a last resort.

I highly recommended Kiplin for a golf cart on Harbour Island. This was our 4th time in the last 3 years and Kippy is always on the ball. He’s there when you step off the water taxi and ready to get you on your way. We had an issue with our cart on a Friday evening. I texted Kippy to say we didn’t need it until the following morning but he stopped whatever he was doing, fixed the cart, and brought it to the restaurant where we were having dinner. Service is outstanding!

Kippy is HANDS DOWN the BEST golf cart rental guy on Harbour Island! He brings your cart to you, he is super helpful with all kinds of recommendations and connections on the island (local knowledge is essential!), he is super flexible, light fast at responding to your questions and requests, I can’t say enough about how great our experience was working with Kippy! His carts are great too - we were on the island for 2 weeks and he checked them regularly to be sure we did not run out of gas and he brought over more carts for our guests when we needed them! Great carts, great guy!

Kippi is a wonderful host and was always available to accommodate. He provided great deals pricewise, and was very quick to respond and help if we had any trouble with the golf carts.

I would always rent from Kippy when staying at Harbor Island. He met us the dock as soon as our water taxi came in and was accommodating all week long. We honestly can’t say enough about this business. The price was so reasonable and the golf cart was perfect for our family!

I strongly recommend Kiplin as their prices were much lower tha the hotel ones and their service absolutely perfect.
Someone was there to pick us up at the dock, make sure we always had fuel and help us out with departure.

It was a great idea renting a golf cart while on Harbour Island.
Kiplin had the best selection by far, and he made renting the cart so easy.
Now that I know about Kiplin Rentals I will always get a cart when my family is on the island,

Kiplin golf cart rentals have the best carts on the island. Kippy is also a great host, and will make your stay on Harbour Island memorable.
