Bellissima da provare assolutamente soprattutto per chi come me soffre le vertigini e quindi evita gli impianti di risalita ,all'arrivo della funicolare partono un'infinità di sentieri tutti molto belli ,con una passeggiata tutta in quota si arriva alla malga Brogles oppure salire per rifugio Reiscesa e continuando fino al crocifisso, qualunque sentiero si prende il panorama da lassù è stupendo. Se siete in zona super consigliata.

Very efficient and easy way to reach the top of Resciasa which is a lovely area with good views of the valley. There’s a restaurant right next to funicular when you get off and you can reach a nice refuge - Rashetz - about 20 minutes further up on the journey up to the crucifix at the top of this mountain section on path 35.

This is one of the best funnicular ride I had in all my travel life. I have been to seven follicular right across the world and this is one of the longest and one of the fastest for Nikhil right I have rode. The view while traveling in this funnicular is superb. The last funnicular ride is at 6 pm.

Consiglio sempre di prendere un pianto di Resciesa perché sopra la vista è bellissima si possono fare passeggiate anche molto semplici adatto magari c’è il passeggino sopra vi è una baita o meglio più baite raggiungibile facilmente fare una bella passeggiata consiglio assolutamente di salire

Comoda e veloce funicolare che da Ortisei in pochi minuti ti porta fino al rifugio Resciesa, da dove si possono fare belle escursioni con splendida vista sulle Odle. Come gli altri impianti in Val Gardena è cara (36 Euro a/r), ma ne vale la pena.

Comoda cremagliera per salire ed avere davanti una splendida vista. Essendo cremagliera il panorama appare sempre più bello sia in salita che in discesa

Impianto adrenalinico, da provare con cui si raggiunge una zona panoramica con sentieri facili tra boschi e prati con mucche al pascolo fino a raggiungere una croce sulla vetta.

Travelling to the top of these hills was quite a chore. The funicular railway really chugged up the steep incline.

Ciao, il parcheggio non l'abbiamo pagato perchè sono disabile. Ci sono stata d'estate e quindi niente slitte. Il costo della corsa singola è di 15€, quello andata e ritorno 21€

Sa Selva si arriva a Ortisei poi si segue per Funicolare Resciesa, arrivati a destinazione; ci si preoccupa per il parcheggio. Si scende per una strada (Via Roma) per raggiungere il parcheggio (a pagamento) della Funivia Seceda. Poi di nuovo su (a piedi) per raggiungere, di nuovo, la partenza della funicolare. E' giusto ??

The Resciesa website list 14 Euro one-way and 19.50 Euro round trip. Is there either a family discount or discounted prices for children (my wife and I will be traveling with our 5yo and 13yo)?

is there a walk from the top funicular station back down to Ortisei.

The road that brings from Ortisei to Resciesa is never particularly steep and departs in the neighbourhood called Martin.
It takes a couple of hours to go uphill and approximatly 90 minutes to discend.
There are countless alternatives and smaller trails, like the one starting from Solaria, in Ortisei.

dall'arrivo della funicolare vi sono più opportunità:
1) verso la croce o la chiesetta è facilmente percorribile (l'ho fatto con una bambina di 3 anni). Attenzione in prossimità della croce dove non ci sono protezioni dagli strapiombi (ma chi va in montagna queste cose le sa già)
2) quella che d'inverno è la pista di slittino, è una stradina forestale senza intoppi
