‪L'estate scorsa approfittando del biglietto cumulativo abbiamo visitato questo parco che è poco pubblicizzato, purtroppo.
Tenuto molto bene, pulito e servito da fontana d'acqua, bagni e accesso per disabili è un bel luogo da vedere per gli appassionati e non , una bella testimonianza della grandezza passata di queste terre‬

‪Baia was a Roman seaside samll town, which was appreciated by aristocrats of the Naples area for its spa establishment
In the Archaeological Park of Baia, we saw the remains of patrician residences and thermal establishments, which were built in the 2nd century. Before JC. We have learned that the phenomena of bradyseism resulted in slow engulfing of piers, villas and buildings between the 3rd and 5th centuries after JC.
We visited discovered this archaeological complex, which is divided into 5 sectors: the Complexe des Terrasses or the Ambulatio, the Thermes de Mercure (which is a large thermal room with a domed roof), the Lower Thermes, the Thermes de Sosandre and the Baths of Venus.
It was an interesting visit!
We were amazed to see a fig tree growing upside down, from the vault of a Roman remains. It was the highlight of the visit!!!‬

‪Ci siamo giunti per caso , ritornando da Cuma che era chiuso . Attenzione agli orari e aperture ,Consiglio prima telefonare . Comunque complimenti ai custodi persone
squisite che ci hanno aiutato moltissimo GRAZIE . Il sito archeologico è di notevole
interesse , sia anche solo per il tempio di Mercurio una gigantesca cupola che
copre una sorgente termale con lo scopo di trattenerne il calore . I Romani in quanto
a terme sono stati maestri. Anche molte altre rovine sono di interesse , da scoprire.Esiste un biglietto valido due giorni per visitare i siti dei Campi Flegrei.‬

‪If you love history, archeology or just are curious about Ancient Rome this site is fantastic. You get a real picture of why the area originally Greek, was so prized for the romans and emperors as a zone to relax in the healing waters of the zone enjoying the spectacular views of the bay.

It’s also lovely to explore without experiencing lines or crowds. You may pass one or two along the but the experience is incredible.
But see it all and DON’T miss baths of mercury! That’s where the must beautiful site is (the indoor pool/ frigidarium) ‬

‪Je connais fort bien l'endroit. J en suis tombée amoureuse il y a 10 ans. J'ai dû y aller 4 ou 5 fois...je ne compte plus. C'est un endroit fabuleux avec des jardins et des ruines. Peu de visiteurs et des moments absolument romantiques. Ce site mériterait d'être plus connu et que l'on aide les gens qui s'en occupent. ( mais cela perdrait peut-être son charme..?)‬

‪Dopo aver visitato la parte sommersa di Baia, abbiamo visitato anche il parco archeologico con le terme antiche ancora emerse e i suoi splendidi giardini.
Punto di forza: un ficus con le radici al soffitto....spettacolare!!!!!! Mai visto niente di simile!!!!!‬
