The chateau is as beautiful as it is historic! The staff was excellent and the food was classic French! The location is terrific if you want to be outside Bordeaux and tram service is nearby and very easy to use.

Innanzitutto la consiglio vivamente. La visita dura 1,30 h, costa 20€ e ti fa fare il giro nei posti della produzione del vino. La guida in inglese molto preparata e simpatica. Degustazione di 3 dei loro vini. Poi si possono visitare anche i giardini. Dal centro si arriva in circa 30 min. col bus.

This was a wonderful tour and wine tasting at this incredible vineyard! I highly recommend it! The guide was extremely knowledgeable and helpful, the facilities were incredible and it was very reasonably priced! Highly recommended!!

Una visita muy completa. Hemos pasado una mañana muy agradable conociendo el entorno, las instalaciones y el proceso.
Nuestra guia Juliette fue encantadora, muy atenta en todo momento y nos hizo disfrutar cada parte de la visita.
La cata final acogedora, en un salon muy bonitos y los vinos (distintos entre ellos) de gran calidad.
Totalmente recomendable, espero volver pronto por la ciudad y hacer más actividades con ellos.

Quel endroit magique et que dire des gens engagés et passionnés qui y travaillent. Mais un énorme bémol à notre arrivée....la préposée qui nous a accueilli à l'avance d'une heure trente de notre visite/dégustation à la boutique a fait preuve d'un manque de civisme incroyable. Nous avons osé demander si nous pouvions prendre part à la visite précédente la notre étant donnée notre arrivée prématurée et elle a littéralement pété sa coche (excusez-moi l'expression) mais s'est littéralement ce qu'on a vécu avec cette dernière. Elle a mentionné que ça se faisait pas, que le groupe était déjà à 20 personnes et elle en a accepté 3 de plus et que les réservations ne servaient pas à rien! Ce n'était qu'une demande de notre part, quel malaise pour moi et mon mari! Et en plus, nous étions une trentaine de personnes à notre visite... Nous avons reçu un expresso compliment du Château à la réception de l'hôtel, ce qui a rendu notre attente des plus agréables. Mille et un Merci à cette charmante jeune dame. Visite guidée et dégustation impeccable!

Nous avons visité le Château Pape Clément avec une guide qui nous a donné des explications claires et très intéressantes. La dégustation de vins était à la hauteur de nos attentes. Visite guidée et dégustation à conseiller. Très bien

This area is split between lodging and a winery/winery tour. Recommend the tour/tasting which is self-guided and easy enough to follow. The tasting at the end was the highlight as staff was professional and polite while sharing loads of information on the wine, and wine in general. Wine store at the entrance/exit as well. Free parking on site.

Nous avons apprécié notre visite, les commentaires et la dégustation. Seul bémol, la visite ne devrait pas être permise aux parents accompagnés de jeunes enfants...

Hi - Question for the Venue Management:
We have emailed and called the number listed earlier this month, but have not received a response.
Is there another email or number that we need to use to inquiries? We used the number listed here in TripAdvisor, which is the same as the Hotel website.
We would like to have a wedding in this venue for 20 guests, and we are hoping that someone can please provide a response or please provide another email or number that we should call.

Is it only a wine tour or also there is a castle tour to look around? We are tavelling with a 7yo son, who is obviously not into wines at all...is this place worth visiting just for the sake of views and interiours and a bit of hystory?What other attractions are in the chateau except wine related? Thanx

Our tours are quite focus on the wine making process and the different technics we use and we also explain the history of the property as Pape Clement V was the owner. We don't visit the castle as it's a guest house. But, we very welcome children during tours we offer juice at the tasting time.

Do any of the rooms have bathrooms with a shower ?
If there is no air con are fans available?

Our room did not have an overhead shower head but rather a handheld sprayer in the bathtub. I do not know about the other rooms. Upon request, we were provided a portable in-room air conditioner that required a ventilation hose to go out a window. There were not enough of these to go around to all rooms during our visit, however. I hope this helps you.
