This place has closed down, although they still hand out leaflets on the ferries, the Pidou at Transmarkt had little stock compared to this one and I cant see that being open much longer, it was sad to see what has happened here due to the restrictions placed on alcohol allowances going into the Uk now

Remarkable value for money. Very easy to set up your order online and collect upon arrival. We've done this a few times and it is a quick 10-minute job to get it collected and loaded. Cru du Beaujolais at sub-£5 a bottle. Brilliant. Staff are excellent.

Visited 19th October 2020.
Our online order had been prepared and was ready on arrival.
On loading the wine into my car, the bottom of one of the boxes failed and 4 bottles of wine smashed to the ground. I was gutted.
I went into the store to tell them what had happened, so the glass would get cleaned up quickly. I asked if they could help me with the loss of 4 bottles.
The gentleman very kindly replace all 4 !!!!!!!!!!!!!! Wow customer service at its best
We have used Pidou for many years, Covid is destroying their business - please support them.

having used pidou Transmarck for a number of years and an average spend of £800 a time I booked my usual crossing no problems, it was on return that I found that my credit card had been charged for the crossing despite the till receipt stating free crossing, I will no longer use that wine merchant and take my business elsewhere.

we havent been to pidou because of the virus since feb so soon as it was all good to go we booked a trip with pidou spend 350 quid which is a hundred more than we have in the past but hey got the free tunnel ticket which are costing 130 quid at the mo and put order through and it was all ready i know we live in kent which is 50 mins from the tunnel but i was booked on the 1350 20th july returning 1725 same day i was ready early so left home at 11am got to folkestone at noon got on the train 50 mins later got to pidou was there ten mins loaded up back to chunnel straight on the train was home at ten to 4 so 11 am left hour drive there hour back 50 mins on train home total round trip 5 hours simples thanks pidou and le shuttle

One of a chain of cheap Plonk vendors in French Flanders.
Warehouse style,boxes of wine piled high,then an assortment of beers and spirits,along with a few very overpriced food items.
Not all is a bargain,better wines can be had from local supermarkets,but there are some bargains if you know local prices.
Outside is full of criminal refugees breaking into cars to steal,and trying to hide in lorries etc. Police are regular visitors by the van load as a result.

This outlet does exactly what it means lots of cheap wine from 1/50 euros a bottle or £5 for a 3 litre box reds white and rose you can pay more infact any price but loads of excellent good cheap wines And beers also a small selection of food washing powder clothing etc I have been coming here for 20 years so can recommend them also check the website a free ferry or Chanel tunnel crossing is included I have used this many times without having any problems

This is not as good as it used to be, some things are cheaper at home in the supermarkets, especially beers, but on the whole, they still have some bulk bargains, and the exchange rate was good.

Very good, quick service. Well stocked store. Very easy to find after leaving the tunnel. Cheap prices. Will definitely go again.

Coach Trip was great a variety of wines. Champagne and beers you can also get chocolates and sweets. A busy warehouse but prices are very reasonable. I would hope in the future the warehouse considers selling souvenirs. Like key rings and fridge magnets tooo for us tourists that collect these items. Lovely day out.

Hello I’ve just arrived in France and wish to buy my wine from yourselves. I notice that if you spend over a certain amount then you will pay for the ferry crossing. As I have already purchased these, if I spend over the amount would you be able to discount my purchase or refund my ferry. Thanks

Hi, With regard to the free tunnel/ferry crossing offer - can you select your own crossing times or is there a specified window of times you are allowed to book within ? Thanks

Hi, yes - you choose your own. For ferry you get a code and call them, for tunnel you book there and then. When you order you say what day you are collecting also. We have been using them for years, brilliant service! Good Luck 👍🏼

Has anybody managed to get the free crossing from this company? How did you manage? I have tried now 4 times and every time I get a different reason why they cannot honour their promise.

I have also never had a problem and am doing it again next week via euro tunnel the lady that emails us is very efficient as long as you order over the required amount it gives you the option of ferry or train.

No we pay when there they take card number on order I case you don't turn up but we pay on collection they do a great euro rate as well but that was before Brexit so check with them
