I love this walk. Take my dog here weekly. Summer we play in the sea and winter we walk coastal path and through the forest. Lovely scenery have seen seals here many a time.

How to ruin a beautiful beach - smother it in rubbish. So disappointed with our visit today as the beach was litetally covered in rubbish and washed up wet wipes.

Located right accross from Cardwell Garden centre it's got plenty parking and toilets. Views good despite the fog and small beach. Good place to walk. Quite a few midges .

A great walk with panoramic vistas to Coral, Bute and Arran. Plenty of parking with Cardwell Garden Centre just across the road.

Great place to take kids for a picnic or a walk along the shore. You can walk from here all the way to inverkip marina and have lunch at the chartroom overlooking the marina. You can even go visit the garden centre to that is huge and has great facilities too. The bay has toilets and picnic benches with a playground for kids too. Plenty parking although it can get busy on sunny weekends

Stopped on way back from Troon. We had an ice cream from the van in the car park then got about 200 metres from car and got caught in one of the thunder showers and made a quick retreat to the car. We waited about 20 mins then departed as it was still chucking it down

Lovely Bay, the kids absolutely loved looking in all the rock pools for crabs and starfish, which we found plenty of. Did her extremely cold but wellies and coats soon fixed that.

This beach area has superb views across to the Cowal Peninsula. Pleasant area to walk: interesting rock formations, rocky pools, sand and pebbled beach areas. Car park is sometimes quite busy, but beach area is large and never seems crowded. Garden centre with cafe just across the road, toilets on site

This is a great place to relax and enjoy the great views over the river clyde. Not much in the way of facilities but a great place for a picnic or to walk your dod

Hi. I'm looking for somewhere to overnight for one night only in a camper van on the way to the ferry.This place looks superb and I'd love to see it. The only problem is I won't arrive until the early hours of Saturday morning and I was wondering if there's anywhere I could pitch the van where I wouldn't be bothering anyone?
I can guarantee we'll be quiet (no children), we will leave no mess (the van is elf-contained) and no BBQ etc.

There didn’t appear to be any barriers or gates on the entrance to the car park and its big enough that you could just park up at the end next to the toilet block without bothering anyone. Didn’t notice any homes in the vicinity so you wouldn’t be annoying anyone. Personally I would park here overnight if I had a camper can. Hope this helps.
