So called waterfall is very fall feom Araku and the roads are not so good. The area near the waterfalls is dirty and not managed well. Tourist dates to take shower in that dirty water and also tourist ia making the nearby area dirty and filthy. I was disappointed with the government officials who is not managing the resources well by educating tourists.

Kothapally waterfalls are situated at 30 km distance from Paderu village and 45 km away from Lambasingi. It is located 60 km away from Araku. This is best waterfall available near Araku and must visit place.
While going from Vizag to Araku we have reached via Kothavalasa and Srungavarapu Kota. Finally reached to Borra Caves spend their 2 hours and then reached to Araku on the same day and stayed night at Araku. While returning to Vizag we have chosen other route from Araku via Chaparai falls, Paderu and then went to Kothapally waterfalls from there we returned to Paderu from there reached to Vizag. This is the best way to cover all spots and reach back to Vizag with shortest distance.
Special Attractions:
1. Strawberry forms near Waterfalls.
2. Coffee plantation near waterfalls.
3. Madugula Halva which generally made by traditional way without using Machines.
Timings: Morning 06:00 to Evening 05:30
Entry Fee: 10 INR per person

Vistied after the monsoons. The place is not very popular. Not many tourists. Only local visitors. The waterfall is good and very scenic.

Awesome during rainy and winter seasons. Water flow is ferocious. You can go down to the feet of waterfall via steps and take photos on the small iron bridge with waterfall behind you.

This place is really awsome to visit. Not many places are there to visit near Hyderabad but Araku Vallely is still somewhere you can visit. Beautiful waterfall.

A little far off from the chaparral falls we also happened to visit this waterfalls. There were hardly any other visitors apart from us. Falls is beautiful and has a bridge across the falls which I did not find in any other, and I happened to visit almost all of them. Beautiful scenic view.

About 2 hours scenic drive from Araku Valley, Via Chaparai Waterfalls and Paderu.
This place is marked/available on Google map, can be navigated easily.
Parking for the Falls is next to the main road itself. it's a 3 minute walk for the Falls from the Parking.
It's a cascading waterFalls, and we can access the foot of the falls through stairs with railings. Less crowded and nice picnic spot to have snacks/lunch. Carry food, nothing much available there except bamboo chicken. Expect to spend an hour or two.
Keep an eye on young children, best time to visit is Aug-October.
