De stadspoort bestaat uit een zogenaamde buitenpoort (met twee torens) en een binnenpoort. Gebouwd eind veertiende eeuw. De poorten maken deel uit van de verdedigingswerken van het historische Xanten.

Es ist super schön hier zu wohnen.. Wohnung 2 (von 3) 40 qm/ 62 Stufen zur Wohnung... Parkplatz in der Nähe.. Buchung über das Touristinfobüro 75€/täglich... tolle Lage toller Ausblick... ruhig und fussläufig stadtnah gelegen... Fahrräder sind auch unterstellbar im Eulenturm... siehe Foto mit den beiden Türmchen 👍... Biobäcker 50 m entfernt in der Krimhildmühle (s. Internet)... HEITER WEITER😉

in Xanten und sicher eine der interessantes Anlagen in dieser schönen Altstadt. Sollte man bei einem Stadtrundgang unbedingt anschauen.

Очень удобное месторасположение. Рядом с мельницей и парком. Здесь ранее были западные ворота городской стены. В основной башне сейчас - гостиничные апартаменты.

Xanten è una cittadina molto affascinante.... è un incontro tra abitudini, stili di vita e arredo urbano tra la vecchia Germania e la tranquillità e modernità dei Paesi Bassi..... le Klever Tor, sono pienamente in sintonia con la magia che si respira nel resto della cittadina... non andare a visitarla almeno una volta, sarebbe davvero un peccato

Wir fanden das Doppeltor mit den Eulentürmen und dem großen, mehrstöckigen Haupttor sehr beeindruckend. Ein Highlight auf unserer Altstadt-Tour durch Xanten.

The Klever Gate, dating from 1393, is a double gate connected by a bridge over the ditch that surrounded the town. The inner gate consists of a quadratic tower, the outer gate of two round towers.
Really exciting to be able to walk through this gate and think back on how the City but also life was all those centuries ago.
Remember to look at the pump and the statues resembling the pump Neighbourhood jus inside the gate

Xanten is een middeleeuws stadje, dat goed onderhouden is. Het stadje is volledig ommuurd en alles werd gerenoveerd. Bij deze ingang van de stad is er een dubbele poort met grote torens. Alles kan gemakkelijk te voet bewandeld worden en er zijn talrijke parkings om de wagen achter te laten.

Very well maintained offering an interesting of the past.
Is an impressive three-storeyed city gate from 1393.
Two rounded-towers, the so called Old Towers, flank the first gateway from the town's exterior.
