Die Nibelungenhalle ist zwar etwas in die Jahre gekommen, aber liebevoll eingerichtet und restauriert. Die Tiere im angrenzenden und im Ticket enthaltenen Reptilienzoo scheinen gut gepflegt und fidel zu sein. Ein Highlight ist natürlich die Drachenstatue am Teich :)

Von der Bergstation zum Schloss und dann zur Nibelungenhalle. Für Kinder okay wegen denn kleinen Reptilien Zoo. Sonst nichts besonderes.

The building is austere Art Deco and the place breathes something from the past. However it houses a hall with great Symbolist paintings by Hermann Hendrich of Wagners operas and the sagas. At the time of out visit they were busy improving the explanatory texts. Furthermore, there is rock labyrinth for young and old ending in a small pond with an endearing stone dragon sculpture and also a small reptile zoo with some amazing great snakes. Although it looks a bit outdated there is much to see and enjoy! Well worth the entrance fee.

A long way hill up. to this Wagner expeince. During Covid19 the parking is a desolated area. We took the long walk up to the Nibelungenhalle. The architecture of the building is misterious. At the entrance we did not feel welcome. But inside the hall we were happy to make this visit. The interior represents the heavy atmosphere of Wagners opera’s. Very dark paintings of Wagner opera’s Herman Hendrich. A curious video of an old movie by the German Fritz Lang: conquering the dragon. The visit was really a worthwhile. We did not visit the reptile part of the building.

Le musée se trouve à mi chemin de la montée Drachenfels.
Le musée est bien.
Il dispose également d’un parc à reptiles.
Le prix me semble surfait.
Mais la visite vaut la peine

Die Halle selbst ist ganz okay, der Höhlenweg naja, aber er mündet an einem schönen Teich mit Drachenfigur. Das Reptilienhaus ist wiederum interessant.

I have been here twice last year, once with my niece and the other with my godchildren. They all loved it!
The Nibelungenhalle is around five minutes away to Schloss Drachenburg and can be reach either with the Drachenfelsbahn or a hike by foot. The hike is actually nice. Quite steep at first and the kids complained but afterwards, they are already way ahead of me.
The hall depicts the story of "The Ring of the Nibelung" through paintings. There is a short movie clip on Siegfried's battle with the dragon. The kids already know the story but they still find it interesting.
They also liked the dragon cave and the dragon statue on the way to the reptile zoo.
The reptile zoo is the highlight of the visit. The kids liked looking at the snakes, spiders, lizards, turtles, birds and the alligator. We spend a lot of time with the birds and alligators.
The place is already old and some renovations will be good. It is also warm inside. It is worth a visit and very good for the kids.
The ticket can be bought there or online. There are also available ticket combinations with other attractions in the area, so check it out for some discounts.

ביקרתי במקום עם הנכד שלי 12 הוא התלהב מהזוחלים ומסיפור "הדרקון" שחי כאן ושמר על האוצר מעניין לראות את מוזאון הקטן לנחשים וזוחלים למיניהם יש גם תנינים ודרקון אבן

Ob einem die Austellung und die Drachenhöhle gefällt bleibt jedem selbst überlassen und das möchte ich hier auch nicht beurteilen. Was aber Fragwürdig ist, ist die Haltung der Tiere im Reptilienzoo, Artgerecht sieht mit Sicherheit anders aus.

Absolut sehenswert. Sehr gepflegte Anlage. Sehr schön der Reptilienzoo für Kinder. Besonders bewundernswert,dass dieses Kleinod privat betrieben wird!
