If you really want to know how to surf, Nelson's drop surf center is the right place to go. He is a great instructor ( you learn from a pro here) and gives you a holistic package of practical training and technique, and everything you need to know about the nature of waves, how to read them, how to move and behave in the water and of course how to have fun :)
I was a bloody beginner and got definitely inspired to pursue surfing in the future, cant wait to come back!

The surf lessons I received from Nelson were fun, interesting and truely helped me to feel more confident in the ocean. He teaches you about not just surfing, correct stance and catching waves but also safety, reading waves and etiquette in the water with other surfers. Nelson makes it interesting and fun to learn and I'm so grateful to have found such a wonderful surf teacher.

One of the best teacher I ever had in my life. Great experience. Nelson is very friendly and open minded. I did surfing few times earlier but I learned from YouTube 💀 Nelson gave my few tips and i started to catch every wave.

Andre was the best! Great instructor who made things really fun. He helped me ride wave after wave. Had the best time surfing with him!

I had the best time with Nelson! He’s really knowledgeable about the area and is an excellent teacher. I had three lessons in a small group (4-5 people) and in each one he taught us new techniques- practising on land first and warming up before trying it in the water. He also made sure I knew what specifically I should work on to improve. As well as learning technique, he taught us what to look for when observing the waves, how best to paddle out and, importantly, how to stay safe whilst having fun. Really recommend Drop surf centre!

Dropsurfcentre - невероятно правильный подход к обучению сёрфинга, я не могу не восхищаться своим прогрессом после даже нескольких уроков. (Я провела много уроков в других школах и почти потеряла надежду в себя). Но dropsurfcentre изменил мое негативное отношение к себе и серфингу! Правильный подход к технике, позитивное отношение и искреннее желание тренера сделать все, чтобы вы были на волне - и вы будете! - оставит вам незабываемые волны, поможет исправить плохие серф привычки и вам захочется серфить лучше!. Эта школа учит вас быть на волне и подходит к каждому уровню ученика индивидуально. И не могу не отметить креативность тренера в тренировках техники на берегу, это так эффективно когда вы на волне. Dropsurfcentre готовит серферов, а не вечно плавающих на досках!

Nelson to najlepszy nauczyciel surfingu jakiego miałem okazje poznać. Po tygodniowym pobycie w Baleal zdążyliśmy nauczyć się podstaw surfingu i samodzielnie łapać fale!
Nelson jest świetnym nauczycielem, umiejętnie przekazuje wiedzę i proste metody na naukę poruszania się na desce. Na pewno do niego wrócimy!:-)

Super leuke kleinschalige surfschool op een top locatie in Baleal. Professionele begeleiding met veel persoonlijke aandacht voor het verbeteren van je surftechniek waardoor ik in korte tijd veel progressie heb gemaakt. De sfeer is daarnaast heel relaxed en gezellig. Kortom; echt een aanrader! Ik kom zeker terug! ❤️

Arrivé par hasard à 17h devant cette petite école je demande à tout hasard s'il est encore possible de prendre un cours particulier. 45mn plus tard je suis sur la plage pour une session de fin de journée dans des conditions incroyables. J'y suis retourné les 2 jours suivants en intégrant un groupe. Super expérience, mon seul regret est de ne pas avoir pu rester plus longtemps à Peniche. Next time ;)
