My daughter and 8 year old granddaughter spent an absolutely wonderful sleepover at this unique farm in a lovely little bunkie. The owners of the farm, Steve and Yvonne were such warm, welcoming hosts. Steve even made us coffee and hot chocolate in the morning. We were able to feed and walk the alpacas and spend as much time with them as we wanted to. In addition to the 42 alpacas, there were also a few goats, a couple of sheep, two dogs and an assortment of barn cats. My animal loving grand daughter was in heaven! If you do not want to sleep overnight there, you are also able to book a time just to visit the farm and take the alpacas for a walk.
I cannot say enough about how great this experience was for all of us.
The beds in the bunkie were cozy and comfortable. There was a king size mattress in the loft and a queen bed on the main floor. There was also a bbq and a lovely bonfire area with all the fire material provided. We loved everything about SAMY's Alpaca Farm!

We took our great nephew (9) and great niece (5). Yvonne was excellent in sharing information about the alpaca’s. The kids got to walk them down the road, feed them a couple of times and pet them!!! Delicious Hot chocolate was offered after!!!! The gift shop was amazing with most of the items from the alpaca fibres. Excellent experience!!! Will definitely be back!!!

We had a good time the person was informative, we were able to feed alpacas and walk with lamas. The alpacas have big beautiful eyes.

Staying overnight in this farm is truly a unique experience. Got to walk, pet and feed the alpacas. There are a couple of llamas, goats and sheep too.
Yvonne the host was very gracious in preparing the tents and the firewood.
My husband and I stayed in a bunkie while my young adults daughters chose to sleep in tents.
Though we were awaken by the sound the alpacas were making, it was a nice sound to wake up to.
No washroom in the bunkie and have to walk to a shared bathroom. Still, a very nice camping experience!

I came across SAMY's Alpaca Farm when searching for a fun and interesting day-time activity that was easily accessible from Toronto. I had had no idea that there were even alpacas in Ontario and was really excited to spend some time up close and personal with them at the farm. I was not disappointed! We spent a few hours learning about and hanging out with alpacas, along with our guide Kayley--whose friendliness and clear love for the animals made our visit that much more special! It was really great to learn about the farm and how it has come to be what it is today. It has grown so much over the years and has taken in so many animals--so truly inspiring. And the farm doesn't only have alpacas! There are also goats, llamas, and more! Not only can you arrange a farm visit, but you can also stay at the farm over night and shop at the farm's on-site store. This is a really fun, low-key experience and something I would definitely recommend to anyone (especially animal lovers) in the surrounding areas.
