‪If you love cinema and want to relive highlights of your life, linked to the suggestions created by the films you have seen or heard of, go and visit this original and incredible small museum, nestled within the walls of one of the most beautiful villages in Italy that is worth a visit, Montecosaro.
Its creator, Mr. Paolo, will lead you amiably, among anecdotes and wonders, to retrace the history of Italian cinema (and not only) through the original hand-painted sketches (small art treasures) of the posters and posters famous in the world, and iconic artifacts that are part of our collective imagination. An unexpected and surprising journey, with a very nice and passionate Virgil.‬

‪Visiting this film museum was a real surprise! I did not expect to find such a particular place, where the passion for cinema is perceived in every detail. The museum is a private collection curated with great dedication by the Owner, a true enthusiast, who has spent over 30 years collecting these unique pieces. During the guided tour, he managed to convey all his enthusiasm, making the experience even more immersive.
What makes this museum really special is the fact that it focuses mainly on the original movie posters, real hand-drawn works of art, which tell the story of cinema in a unique and visually fascinating way. In addition, there are also some very interesting props, which add an extra layer of immersion for fans of the big screen.
It was a journey through memories and emotions that really struck and moved me. I highly recommend this experience to anyone who loves cinema or simply wants to discover a unique collection.‬

‪In the province of Macerata, in the center of Montecosaro, there is a museum that under the pretext of telling the golden ages of film posters, gives us a unique experience to learn about and live the seventh art. Those good pasts when the cinema ticket cost 300 lire and the theatre gives emotions to an audience that lived it also, indeed above all, as a convivial moment. That atmosphere described by two films, one known by everyone, Nuovo Cinema Paradiso, the other only by connoisseurs, Nitrate d’Argento. It is a private museum open to everyone, to visit it just ring the bell; the Owner in exchange for a small offer will be our Guide showing us the paintings that would later become the main tool to attract the old cinema audience. But the museum does not end there, in the numerous rooms there are memorabilia from the original sets and objects made especially to take advantage of the success of the film. And unlike his older brother from Turin, here under the supervision of the passionate museum operator, who for the occasion also became a director, we will be able to live the experience of identifying with that world, between the original bike of De Sica’s masterpiece; Fellini’s megaphone, the pinball machine of Troppo forte; a perfect reconstruction of the Trinity cart; the cage where you bought the old ticket with the matrix. Much more there is to see in the Cinema and Brush Museum, a gem to be envied by the much better known Piedmontese one.‬

‪My wife and I went to visit this museum that we did not know existed and we were curious that it was cinema .. then visiting it with the wonderful Guide of Mr. Paul, explained and made us understand why it is called Cinema a Pennello. The name is taken from the fact that inside the museum there are sketches and paintings of movie posters. In addition, the twelve rooms are dedicated to Bud Spencer and Teren Hill, Totò to Claudia Cardinale, and then Carlo Verdone, Giancarlo Giannini, and much more. The wonderful thing about visiting this Museum is that as you visit one room after another, you are captivated by the magic of cinema, by all those movies we have seen, and with our minds we relive, and there are some scenes that we can even shoot directly (to understand it you have to go) ... Congratulations for the commitment of Mr. Paul and his whole family to take care of this wonder and to increase this work of art, but above all for the great passion he has for cinema. I invite you to go and visit it together with your friends, parents, relatives of all ages ... my wife and I will be back soon‬

‪I walk with my group through the various rooms and admire the many familiar faces of cinema of the past and beyond: Burt Lancaster, Carlo Verdone, Giancarlo Giannini, Claudia Cardinale, Ornella Muti, Bud Spencer and Terence Hill. Along with many other stars and divas of the seventh art, they are the protagonists of hundreds of sketches, portraits and original drawings used for the movie posters that were released in theaters at the time. Brushstrokes of colors that bring back emotions and memories of their favorite movies. Unique sensations for a unique museum in the world. All enriched by costumes and props from the original films and some reproductions of lost cinematic objects, including the Indio pocket watch, from the movie "For a Few Dollars More", and the mythical harmonica of "Once Upon a Time in the West". Also memorable is a copy of a page from the original score written by maestro Ennio Morricone for the film "Once Upon a Time in the West". Special thanks to Paolo Marinozzi, who with skill and passion has been able to lead us, as a director does with the actors of a film, in the History of cinema and exhibition. For cinephiles, the Museo Cinema a Pennello in Montecosaro is a must. For the curious and art lovers a sensational journey into the history of art, cinema and "our history".

‪The Brush Cinema Museum is an exhibition of original hand-painted sketches researched and carefully guarded by Owner Paolo Marinozzi.
The route is divided into rooms dedicated to Italian actors and accompanied by background music. The godmother of the museum is Claudia Cardinale and has a private room. Here follows Sala Sordi, Verdone, the noir and police cinema room.
If it weren’t for Paolo’s Guide, who recounts every corner of the museum, you might get lost in so much beauty. Paolo welcomes visitors with grace and kindness and encourages them to identify with the scenes of their My Saves films by providing costumes and objects.
The museum is housed in the estate of Count Montecosarese, this historic place enriches and enhances even more the content.
Recommended for film lovers and those who love daydreaming!‬

‪It is a museum (of original sketches of posters and other film memorabilia, many of them valuable) but it is not only that: it is a historic palace transformed into the soul of cinema by the Owner's passion. Andateci!‬
