After not checking and going somewhere else that closed almost a year ago, I came across this - but on arrival the shop was empty aside from a step ladder inside, so I assume that it has closed.

In a small corner of a little town called Merstham in Surrey, lies a hidden treasure of an amazing art gallery run by a local artist with a difference. It’s an art gallery with a coffee bar inside, painted with warm colours of cordiality and a pleasant service to the visitor.

RT Gallery as it is called is also Coffee bar run by a local artist by the name of Ms Julie Bond. Ms Bond is a talented and a gifted artist in her own rights. It’s the painting of animals that caught my attention when I visited her art gallery, especially, the paintings of the eagle and the lion. The eagle - The king of the skies-rules from above while the lion - the king of the land that roams with majesty. Julie's painting is intricate but detailed to the beholder that I had stood in awe of the paintings of the 2 kings of the animal kingdom.

Ms Bond with her warm, sincere and friendly personality, makes you feel at home in her art gallery. She takes much interest in her visitors and happy to chat and show her paintings around the gallery. Ms Bond also runs classes for those wanting to learn how to draw and to paint.

As you enter into RT Art Gallery, you enter into the Coffee Bar with a homely atmosphere with paintings decorating on the walls and the smell of fresh coffee and cakes on display at the counter.

You can wander around the art gallery looking at the paintings and end up relaxing to nice freshly brewed coffee and light snack to eat.

If you ever drive through this little town of Merstham in Surrey, why not stop over and discover for yourself this little hidden treasure of a art gallery and coffee bar tucked away at the corner of the main road and be welcomed by the warm smile and hospitality of Ms Julie Bond.

I am sorry because you are a small business but the food was not very good and I did not like it. Mabye add more food selections to pick.
