‪كما تقع الكاتدرائية على هذه المعالم السياحية في Truro. دخلنا على المخصص للجوقة تستعد بغناء لإقامة حفلات الزفاف. يا له من مكان رائع على الزواج. إنه أحد O أصغر الكاتدرائيات رأيته ولكن لا يقل مثيرة. إنه يجب أن تراه في Truro‬

‪Positively Modern‬

‪It's a positively modern building when compared to many of the other cathedrals in the country, and well, just not as impressive a building. Still worth a look in, but perhaps for a shorter visit.‬

‪Impressive Victorian cathedral‬

‪At just 120 years old the present Truro cathedral was built by the Victorians on the site of St Marys church. Some of the old church is incorporated into the Cathedral. It is a most impressive building and one that is central to the people of Cornwall. One of the outstanding features , and one we spent most time viewing, is the terracotta frieze in the North Quire. Created by George Tinworth, the detail is outstanding in very fine detail, in this 6 foot long frieze.
The cathedral has some very beautiful stain glass windows, which just adds to the charm and peaceful nature of the building.‬

‪This is one of the nicest cathedrals I have visited. Some amazing stained glass windows, a most magnificent alter and amazing ceiling. The choir was singing when I visited and they added to my visit. One of only 3 churches in the UK with 3 towers. ‬

‪Beautiful building, able to walk round and light a candle if you want. We were lucky enough to hear the choir practicing. Definitely worth a visit to see this historic cathedral‬

‪Well worth a visit to this beautiful building if you are in Truro. Spectacular ceiling. Loved the story of the much older original St Mary’s parish church which was incorporated into the cathedral building itself and still is a parish in its own right. Also loved the story of the kinky cathedral whereby main body of the cathedral had been deliberately architecturally designed to be at an angle (a kink) from the main presbytery area in order to preserve some housing around the new building. It’s great to think they considered this in Victorian times.‬

‪Humbling, grand Architecture‬

‪This is a significantly awe inspiring Cathedral situated right in the middle of Truro; we wondered in and happily found the place was dog friendly which is a bonus!

We wondered quietly down the cathedral its stain glass windows and architecture are stunning and the place itself is an oasis of quiet and calm. Stories and plaques adorn the walls giving life and depth to the visit; well worth a trip and we didnt visit but the cafe looked nice.‬
