We were back at the end of August at the beginning of September at the Euro Diver Vilamendhoo , the Euro Diver had already convinced us last time to go diving there again.
And we weren't disappointed. The Euro Diver are a thoroughly professionally organized dive center . Every effort is made to ensure a pleasant holiday for the inclined clientele. From Beginners to experienced divers, everyone is in good hands there. According to experience, the appropriate dive sites are approached.
I can't say much about the equipment, because I had my own equipment with me.
This one. Instead, my special thanks go once again to Mathias the new bases leader for the borrowed lead bags.
Also the house reef can convince especially the north side is worth several dives.
And we weren't disappointed. The Euro Diver are a thoroughly professionally organized dive center . Every effort is made to ensure a pleasant holiday for the inclined clientele. We had a great time diving with Eurodivers Vilamendhoo. They truly live up to their motto „diving with friends“ as each of their dive guides/ instructors is super nice and friendly and very well trained. We had the pleasure of diving with Julian, Nick, Ramiz, Tofail, Guillaume and Sarah and they were all great! They really look out for everyone in the team, dive slowly and safely and we were able to see the most amazing wildlife underwater (mantas, lots of different sharks, turtles, clown fish, eagle rays, scorpion fish, mantis shrimp and many more).
We’ve been to quite a few dive centers before but this one really stood out in the way they take care of their customers and especially in the very detailed and in depth dive briefings they gave on the boat before each dive (taking account for each eventuality like strong or changing currents). We therefore felt really well prepared and safe.
The only thing that I would like to point out to the Eurodivers team is the habit of the boat crew of doing the „quarter turn back“ (in this case often more like a half turn) when opening the tank (even when we opened them ourselves they would come and turn it back). I know this is hotel staff and not staff from Eurodivers (therefore not negatively influencing my rating) but please educate them about this oldschool, really outdated and actually quite dangerous practice. (See DAN article „old habits die hard“ for further reference).
Other than that, the boat crew was great, really helpful and nice.
We really loved the experience and will definitely be back one day to visit these amazing divespots again.

We really enjoyed diving by Euro Divers. Top diving locations and super guides and staff. We made a lot of dives in the 2 weeks we were there and my wife followed the advance and Nitrox course. Next year we will come back.

It was the first Maldives on our honeymoon! We were blessed with the weather that we were worried about due to the rainy season, and we were quite lucky to see the whale shark we had hoped for both snorkeling and scuba diving! Manta rays could be seen up close for a long time♪
I'm very happy to have run out of luck here lol
The staff were all good people and it was a very safe shop. I think it is the No. 1 diver Resort among the increasing number of luxury Resorts ◎ It was also a good experience to work with good divers from Europe and America!
We were so happy to receive all your requests, including early morning and night dives, and it was a lifetime memorial!!
I will definitely come again one day♡

The coveted whale shark was seen at close range, whether snorkeling or diving.
Manta rays were also visible for a long time.
It was great to see them fulfill all their requests like boat dives and self diving on the house reef!!

Best week diving ever. Thank you scholar for getting me to dive with less weight it made a big difference and a huge thank you to Sarah for literally finding everything I’d asked to see on my bucket list. I’d said I wanted to see whale sharks, white tips, Manta’s and grey reef sharks and Sarah told me which dives to book and made it happen along with soooo much more my mind was blown. A well organised dive centre offering varied dives for all levels each day as well as a wish list where you can request to dive at a site you really want to see during your stay. Can’t thank the guides enough and the boat crews and captains for really taking care of me during the whole stay, amazing place I will be back soon for more adventures!!!!!

Dear Eurodivers, I'm planning to come in September 2024 to your base. How about the opportunity to see whale shark, reef shark, in this time? Or better to skip and chose another month/season?

thank you for your inquiry and the interest to dive with us.
Actually we can see whale shark's here at the south Ari Atoll all year around.
But as you can imagine there is no guaranty but there is always a 50/50 chance.

Hi, in my oppinion it is a good time for diving although it is close to the rainy season with a little less visibility, but there is a good season for big fish such as whale sharks and mantas caused by a higher plancton concentration.

thank you for your request.
Prices start at 57 USD per dive (including tank and weights) and 24 USD full equipment rental per dive. Depending on the total number of dives you do, the prices per dive and equipment rental per dive become cheaper depending on the total number of dives (see price list). For boat dives there is an additional boat fee that is charged per trip and depends on the type of trip (21 - 40 USD per trip).
Please keep in mind that all the above mentioned prices as well as the local price list are excl. 12% tax.

Thank you for your request.
Depending on how many dives you do in total, the price per dive as well as the price for the rental equipment per dive decreases.
The price per dive starts at 57 USD.
The full rental equipment starts at 24 USD per dive
The surface marker balloon rental is 6 USD for your whole stay
If you do a boat dive, then there is a boat fee starting at 21 USD for a single-tank trip.
All the prices are subject to 12% GST.

Nous venons fin octobre pour 12 jours au Vilamendhoo (Maldives atoll d’Ari).
Pouvons nous faire des baptêmes de plongées bouteilles si nous n’avons aucun diplôme?
Le certificat niveau 1 français est-il suffisant ou bien faut-il passer l’équivalence PADI?
