Coasteering was beyond anything we could have expected! Not only were the views gorgeous, the experience itself was so much fun.
Our guide Matt took us around to multiple cliffs to jump from. We also climbed around tons of rock formations. Matt went above and beyond telling us some history about the area as well as pointing out different plant and sea life we saw along our way.
We were very comfortable the whole time. We were situated with wetsuits, helmets, and life vests. Then we were asked our physical level so Matt could alter our route to our comfortability.
I would easily book this tour again and again because there is so much to see and experience out on the cliffs.

Barry provided an unforgettable experience for us! His amazing personality and stories kept us entertained, and ready to keep jumping. We will always remember the fun times, and will definitely be back for more coasteering. Thanks again Barry!

This was the best activity, all the instructors were so kind and understanding and would help you to feel comfortable and always were cheering us on!

So, I don't recall ever having said something like this before, but me and my family have just returned from our 3hr coasteering experience and I'm almost certain it's the best thing I've ever done in my 46 years on this planer.
Don't be expecting glitz, razzmatazz and amazing facilities. Expect instead to meet in a field with some guys in a van who will lend you really, really decent protective equipment, take your safety seriously (but make no mistake, this isn't sanitised, it's a proper rugged activity) and then give you a few hours of their huge skill, experience and also friendless and warmth and proper enthusiasm for what they do in a way you just can't fake.
Matthew was our guide today and he was nothing short of wonderful. We are a party of two adults and 13 year old twins, one of whom has a very significant learning disability which could have challenged Matthews skills or patience. Well not a bit of it. Matthew was absolutely fantastic with our son (Matthew is his new hero) and he enjoyed the experience just as much as any of us (and did all the same things)
In a way, I don't actually want to go into a lot of detail about the experience. You can already find that on other reviews if you want to read it but my recommendation would be not to bother trying to find out. Instead, take my advice, book it, turn up and enjoy it. If you are anything at all like us, you will find the experience of swimming, exploring and jumping (you don't have to jump if you don't want to by the way) in some of the most breathtakingly beautiful coves and scenery just an utter privilege. Trust me, these guys are very, very good at what they do and this is an experience you'll never ever forget.

My husband and I along with our
two young sons had a fantastic coasteering experience. From the outset the team were very attentive to our two young children as it was their first coasteering experience. Our guide Cameron was so good with our sons taking the time to educate them along the way and made it fun and interesting to the point my eldest son told me, it was his "best day ever". The team are very knowledgeable and it was a fantastic way to see the north coast from a different perspective. We will definately book again and would recommend Causeway Coasteering unreservedly.

Great experience, seeing the coast from a different angle but up close and personal.
Family of 4 including a 9 year old boy, 13 year old girl and a not so adventurous wife. We all had a blast and now the wife wants to do it again tomorrow !
Mark was a great guide, friendly and professional, towing the kids on occasion across the water.
Recommend wholeheartedly. I suspect we'll be back in the not too distant future.

Had the best time ever! So exciting and absolutely beautiful scenery. Our guides Matti and Barry were brilliant and made the whole thing so much fun. Thank you for such a wonderful experience for myself and my two girls.

Amazing amazing amazing! These guys are just incredible! I went with my 2 teenage kids and I was so scared at the start but Cameron and Matthew were so encouraging and just had such a lovely way about them! They took all the fear from me and I even managed the last jump!!! The kids were in their element and I had complete faith and trust in Cameron and Matthew! I cannot recommend this highly enough! Absolutely amazing!!!!! We will be back as they made it so fun! Incredible day!!

How hard is the climb to the locations where you jump? I had an ankle fusion a few years ago and was wondering if I would be able to climb still.

Previous answers are right. It is very uneven rocks/bolders. However, they are generally large & easy to crawl or walk on as they have good grip. I'm short so thought I'd struggle, but your knees come in very useful. The hardest part can often be getting out of the water first with the strength of the sea, but there are 2 staff who are very willing to help pull or push & always checking everyone's ok. If you can, book it - it's the best craic!
