If you are coming to Portrush, you just must book a Sunrise Breakfast Fishing Tour on the Causeway Lass. It's a truly wonderful experience. Thanks to Richard and Charlie for a memorable morning. The views were stunning and I'll never forget the sun rising over Dunluce Castle. Charlie's stories and knowledge of wildlife is captivating and Richard's skill at catching fish is second to none! I even managed to catch 3 mackrel myself, which was a huge thrill. What made the morning even more special was the delicious breakfast of mackrel prepared by chef Lee, freshly caught by ourselves. You simply could not get more locally prepared food. Lee had even made some beautiful scones and a big pot of tea for our arrival. Thanks again guys for a marvellous morning.

We took a private boat ride out with Causeway Boats. They pointed out all the wildlife, and slowed the boat for pictures. We got to hear stories from the sea while we rode. We laughed, and had a great time with the guys. Loved our boat ride so much!

Have been on the mackerel and breakfast trips many times now, excellent value as always. Richard and crew are always dead on, easy spoke to, happy to help anyone. Charlie is a great orator. Tight lines all.

Brilliant fishing trip. our rugby squad went out with Richard on Causeway Ladd and had a blast. Great people, excellent service and a fantastic excursion

4 Canadians visiting Northern Ireland and wanting to see the sights and meet the people ... we did both on the Portrush Lass with Charlie and Richard. We enjoyed our time on the boat seeing the coastline and islands, and as well as enjoying the scenery, we especially enjoyed their information and folklore/stories. Thank you !!

Brilliant experience! We went for the Sunrise ‘Catch Your Breakfast’ Food Tour. We met Charlie and Kerry at Portrush harbour and they were great hosts throughout the trip. They were very informative and we got a beautiful morning for touring the coast and fishing. We then enjoyed a delicious breakfast of the mackerel we caught in a local restaurant, the Kraken. Definitely recommend this trip for any family group or friends.

Realizamos la actividad de pesca de tres horas, y tuvimos la suerte de hacerla solos.
El personal es correcto si más, no interactúan casi nada.
Vas viendo la costa y te paran en zonas donde saben que hay bancos de peces y siempre pican, y cuando llevas un rato din que piquen te llevan a otra zona.
Si quieres te puedes llevar lo que pescas.

Really disappointing. The one crew member on board had no interaction whatsoever with passengers. On way out I heard him mention to one passenger - who he knew - that it would be very rough on way back in - yet never mentioned to passengers to prepare for it on way back, including one family with young children who were quite concerned during the journey. Showed no interest in helping novices during the fishing stage. I have used this company before and they have been great - this trip was very very poor and not worth the money.

Cannot recommend these guys enough! We were lucky enough to discover Causeway Boats when planning my hen. My sister booked for 18 of us to go on a booze cruise. Can honestly say it was the highlight of the whole weekend!
We got on board and were all handed a gin & tonic, a chef made us the most incredible nibbles, including the most amazing handmade scones and canapés. The gin was flowing for the whole journey and the crew absolutely made the trip, they were amazing craic and we all had the best time. The sun was shinning and to top it all off, we were joined by a pod of around 30 dolphins the whole way in and out. It was truly magical! Thank you again Causeway Boats, trip of a lifetime.

We hired Causeway boats for a large hen party group and I was blown away with the experience we received!
We were greeted by the friendly crew and brought aboard to very yummy nibbles including fresh strawberry & cream scones and Hinch distillery G&T’s, which were being prepared on board by a lovely chef.
Due to being a large group we were split between two boats and given a safety briefing, which was reassuring.
We were so lucky to have good weather, relatively calm seas and were followed for the majority of our trip,
by 20 Dolphins!
Richard, Charlie and the rest of the causeway boats team were fabulous and gave us a great tour of the North Coast coastline with in depth knowledge and history of the area!
I would definitely recommend Causeway Boats to anyone and will be sharing their details to my family, friends and everyone heading to the North Coast looking for a fun adventurous activity!
