Great experience- lots of interacting artefacts- supported by helpful, enthusiastic ans knowledgeable volunteers. Fantastic to see the history of the area. Well worth a visit

Organised for a group of older adults to visit the museum, great communication from the volunteers who mange the museum. Very interesting talk on the history and many artefacts to look at. Bonus was that they gave our group tea/biscuits which was brilliant. Would recommend to visit this lovely restored museum in the beautiful Roe Valley country park.

Great rural museum open again after 3 years closed, family friendly with a colouring in corners and find the lego men!

Disappointed to find the museum still closed due to covid. Managed to fly to N Ireland, visit many other sites, travel by train, shop and visit Derry museums but not Green Lane!

Visited the museum for the first time. It's small but it has some interesting things. Definitely recommend.

We did not like it because there was not enough signs up saying “do not touch” and my brother touched someone and got shouted at by the person and because she was working my brother made a little bit of noise and she gives him the dirtiest look I have ever seen anyone give someone. Not what I had expected, very disappointed.

I was with a party from Hezlet Court Coleraine, and we were lucky enough to stop off at the Roe Valley Country Park, Dogleap Road, Limavady... Upon wandering around the park, with a beautiful wild flower garden and river, we came across the museum, and I must say, it is quite an interesting and historical place to visit... It is full of nostalgia, from a bygone era, and you could spend quite a while in there ... there is even a piece of a WW2 aircraft wing and a concrete bomb...
All in all, a very worthwhile place to visit... including the big water wheel outside the building... 110% Highly recommended...

Me and my family walked around the park, really enjoyed it....brilliant.....We then went to go into the museum but the girl coming out was locking the door. She said it was closed and was a bit abnoxious about it. But all the sign's said it didn't close for another 1/2 hour...???......this happened about this time last year.....hope somebody else is in charge now who works the hour's that we tax payer;s pay them for........????

When on scholl trips to here, it was great to have a look into the history of the place and with the large display you could spend a long time browsing the different areas

Situated in an old industrial building from the era when Linen was a major industry in this locality this museum displays various items of local interest. Many items relate to the lives of people living and working in the area from the late 1800's to the mid 1900's. Also included are items relevant to the Royal Air Force stations in the area from WWII until the mid- 1970's. Lots of agricultural items and some items from business's in the area. Open mainly in the summer months but check in advance, A good place to bring children to let them see the past and for senior citizens to evoke memories of early lives.
