My husband and I had our first SUP lesson with longline and safe to say we will be back. It was a fantastic experience all round. Mairead was a brilliant teacher, the facilities were great, weather amazing and the scenery just out of this world. A perfect morning!

Great surf lesson with Abbie for my two teenage boys. Abbie had a great rapport with them and was really encouraging. Would highly recommend this surfing experience.

Brilliant surf lesson with Eunan.
He was friendly and encouraging.
He explained everything really well and we both managed to stand.
Would recommend when visiting.
Benone beach was beautiful for the lesson.

I booked 2 days of surf lessons for our children and myself. Absolutely brilliant. Eunan Sam Callum were just brilliant. All the wetsuits were 5/3 so there wasn't a hope of getting cold. Unfortunately the adult lessons were cancelled for day 2 as there's wasn't going to be enough swells - Emailed by Dan in plenty of time and a refund issued with no hesitation. Beautiful location on Benone strand. Keep up the great work!

My 13 year old daughter attended the kids surf sessions twice in one week. The staff are really friendly and enthusiastic. The equipment is all in good order and the sessions are well organised. Even though the waves were a little small my daughter enjoyed the sessions and by the end was standing up regularly on the board. Great way to meet other kids and spend a couple of hours in the water learning how to surf.

Brilliant day learning to surf with Eunan and Mairead. They were so patient and attentive. From the moment we arrived (late) nothing was a problem. Mairead greeted us with such friendliness and made us feel very welcome. The 4 of us had a great time and Benone Beach is stunning. I couldn't recommend Longline surf school highly enough. We will definitely be back for another visit and more lessons.

Dan and his team were so engaging and helpful and enthusiastic. Day before he text to advise waves were poor and he could refund or change to day after if it suited as the waves looked good. Really clean and well presented wet suits and rash vests and new top condition boards. The focus was to get basic skills and have fun, Dan and team certainly did that. Great 2hrs fun on north coast glorious beach.

I went to a free taster session for SUP, I’ve had a paddle board for 2 months, But kneeling down mostly Dan held my board and talked me through the steps, finally I did it and stayed upright... I’m so thrilled!!! Thanks Dan and Rebecca - I’ll be in touch and bring some friends next time!!! They get 5 stars from me 👍🏾

Kids had surf lessons which they really enjoyed. The group was small so everyone got great safe instruction.

I’ve been coming to Dan for 9 years for surf & SUP lessons and board and suit hire. You could not ask for better folk to show you the ropes and accommodate your needs. The service is truly excellent and everyone is extremely friendly and genuine in their desire for you to enjoy your time at Benone or on the River Røe. Great set up, really organised. Each summer I bring 60 kids from my school to surf club here and they absolutely love every minute. I can thoroughly recommend the white hot chocolate at the Sea Shed too!
