Excellent food in beautiful surroundings served by lovely staff. I had the falafel with beetroot chutney with salads and coffee.
My only complaint would be that the beetroot chutney was served in a disposable PLASTIC container on an otherwise beautifully presented plate of food. My friend had a dessert which had cream also served on the plate in a plastic container.
From an aesthetic and environmental point of view ditch the plastic please. Otherwise , a gorgeous lunch. Thank you

Uns hat es sehr gut gefallen, mehr über die Wollverarbeitung in Irland zu erfahren. Auch wurden die verschiedenen Wollarten ausgestellt und konnten angefasst werden.

N'étant pas arrivés dans le bon créneau horaire ,nous n'avons pas pu visiter "la fabrique"
Il ne nous restait que le magasin ...ou sont vendus les produits fabriqués sur place, à base de laine, de très bonne qualité ,et très prestigieux à n'en pas douter, mais ...relativement onéreux.
De plus toute sorte de produits qui n'ont pas de lien avec le travail du tissage sont proposes à la vente à des prix tout aussi élevés...

Very nice shop with a restaurant at the floor . Team very welcoming to explain us how it ´s work. Unfortunately the factory doesn’t work at this moment but we had explanation about this place

My family and I did the 11.30 tour here. I think they only run Monday-Friday. The tour involved a 20 minute information session from a guide and a quick visit to the working factory. The guide was very knowledgeable and passionate about this wonderful mill. The tour was free. Foxford Mill had a fascinating history and really is an Irish heritage site. The quality of the blankets and throws here is exceptional. The shop also offers beautiful bed linen and home wares. We did not eat in the café but will definitely return as what was on offer looked fresh and delicious. Well worth a visit. Great to support a local industry like this.

This is a lovely but quite expensive shop. It sells a range of goods including Foxford woollen products. Also sells other clothing and home goods. There are currently no tours about the history of the mills so it is really a shopping expedition

Atmosphere is great in this old building. Great selection of food with plenty of healthy options. It’s a great place to shop and eat.

I have been visited the Foxford Mills every time I come back to Ireland. The customer service is always brilliant in the cafe and shop. My friend bought some Christmas presents and the lady kindly wrapped them for her. I purchased a mens Magee for my Dad at £85 and another member of staff informed me that they would not Christmas wrap as not a mills item. Instead gave me a piece of their wrapping paper and did not even fold the number nicely in the bag. Pity she does not take note how pleasant the other members of staff are to customers.

Foxford tours not happening due to COVID. Shop such a disappointment from years ago; no local pottery or peat souvenirs, hardly any Irish souvenirs snd most strange now stock White Stuff clothes which are not Irish. After visiting for years with guests won’t be returning until back to Irish goods and souvenirs

Es ist ein hochpreisiger Touristen-Rummel-Laden. Kaum lohnt es sich, hier Station zu machen. Irland hat so viele Schönes an Natur und Kultur zu bieten. Das hier gehört nicht dazu.

A nice place. About 2 hours should be enough. A bit expensive although the cafeteria is nice, and there is a big car park. Enjoy
