I was here for Sunday morning Mass (which was at 10.30 (the sign says 11!). We were warmly welcomed and guided to available seats by the friendly and helpful stewards.
The signing and music at Mass was uplifting. Thank you.
The church has a wonderful large stained glass window behind the sanctuary which adds light and life to the entire building.

Probably the most recognisable landmark in the town of Ballina. Nice setting by the banks of the river Moy, it's the main Roman Catholic church in the area and was build using local stone. Interior is simple but quite atmospheric.

A cathedral where the spire was to be giant but ran out of funds.The winner here is one of the World's Best Stain Glass artist of the 20th Century(in my opinion of all time) Harry Clarke has one of his pieces here.Go to see it! The trip will be worth it! Located right on the banks of the River Moy in Ballina,Mayo.Plenty of small eateries to choose from.Free.

This picturesque church huddles down next to the river Moy. It's lit up at night and makes for lovely evening photos. Just off to the right is the ruins of the old graveyard and abbey, though the abbey is not accessible due to safety concerns.
The inside of the cathedral has pretty stained glass and a standard stone arched ceiling which would do any church built in the 1800s proud. It's worth a short pop in for a look, and as a local landmark. It doesn't compare to the landmarks of Dublin or other major european cities for size or breathtaking pops of color, but for what it is - it is a respectable piece of local architecture.

Adoration from 8am to 11pm. A great place of holiness and renewal. If you visit church’s for the windows and architecture this can go down the list of candidates. If you go to encounter the living God, this can be a good spot.

Very friendly folk, priest made it a point to welcome visitors from out of the country. Music was very nice, great soloist. Beautiful building.

Lovely Cathedral . Beautiful cathedral and shop on grounds for reading materials/ mass bouquets etc . Adoration on each evening

On the banks of the river, this imposing cathedral impresses. The building is tall and solitary. The inside, while not as decorated as those in Rome or Paris, is worth a visit. Spiritual.

This is a beautiful Roman Catholic Cathedral in Ballina .
Beautiful stained glass windows , floors and statues .

An awesome experience to visit and see this beautiful Cathedral.
Cathedral choir was so beautiful. Such talent! Every bit as good as St Paul's Cathedral Choir, London. Had the pleasure of attending a marriage ceremony here recently. Fr Liam Reilly was the celebrant. His Homily was simple and yet Fr managed to successfully engage with non - believers and others who seldom attend church. I will definitely revisit this wonderful Spiritual building.
