Booked this tour not a bother on the day we went very accommodating. Lovely laid back cruise up the Shannon with young lad on the guitar and singing some good Irish songs. Well worth a trip if in the area.

Booked before I entered Ireland , as there are lots of people wanting to go on this river cruise,
Great story of how this boat was made by the skipper and friend,
Friendly staff for this 2 hour cruise up the Shannon, with a guitarist singing Irish and other songs, all the way.
Beautiful scenery along the way.
When passing through Carrick on Shannon, stop for the day and prebook your cruise, you will enjoy the cruise.

Five of us had a fantastic afternoon on Moon Rivers Cruiser today . The staff were excellent and the musician was fantastic so talented.
It was really a great way to spend a sunny afternoon in April , delighted we booked with this company. I hope they’ve a very busy summer

The instructor was giving me instructions and he yelled at me. Tbh that was it but it was just so rude

My husband and I did this lovely wee relaxing trip last Sunday. Lasts about an hour. Lovely young guy called Ryan sang and gave a bit of commentary. We enjoyed this while sipping a glass of wine.

Complete waste of money. Played bad music so people wouldn’t dance. Told this by staff. Not what it used to be.

Entertaining singer/comedian played the entire time we floated down the Shannon River. Foods included in lunch were assorted sandwiches and scones with butter, clotted cream, and jam.
Coffee and tea are included, but if you want a beer, you get it at the bar.

We did this trip last Sat morning. It was a total waste of money and time apart from the lovely weather. Absolutely rubbish commentary which told us nothing except the length of the Shannon. The entertainment was so bad you couldn't describe it. And then we were asked to move from our spot out at the front so a group of "hens" could go out there :( Never again and would advise others the same. Dreadful

Absolutely a waist of time !! Literally traveled a 5mph the entire way and toilets only suitable for people under 3ft.

Really enjoyable hour. Host was super and very entertaining and funny. Staff were very polite and respectable of space. Highly recommend. Will definitely be back.

How much is the cruise for 2 adults?

It cost us 40 euro for 2 adults and 2 children. We got a private table reserved and it lasted 1 hour. Hope that helps

How many does the Moon River carry?
Is there an afternoon cruise? I am visiting the area with children and I am interested in doing a cruise but not one with hens or stags. Thanks very much.

It's only operating at wkends because it's out of season. Normally there is a 3pm cruise in summer months but we were there last wk and no sailing till Saturday.
