Bernard and his staff were excellent hosts.
Recommend as the best spot in Glengarrif.

Best bar in Ireland. Benard and staff are always a great and welcoming. Always has entertainment. We today trip everywhere, but we always end up at Harrington's in the evening.

I must say, Bernard Harrington is one of the most welcoming and generous publicans I have met.
A bunch of us have created a nice music session, first Sunday of the month at 8pm. All musicians welcome - we'd be playing mainly Irish trad but also a sprinkling of other genres, and we're always open to new blood and new musical ideas!
Next session will be on Sunday March 6th at 8pm. Welcome y'all!

Cannot reccomend enough owner and staff were fabulous great banter great craic and super welcoming will definitely be back! Great pint of guinness live music

The staff & owner were very frinedly and accommodating! Made us feel very much at home - even lit a little turf firepit to keep away the midges!!

Dropped by in the pouring rain with a large family group ranging in age from 15 to 60 and we were made welcome instantly. The food and drink was very good, the staff were helpful and friendly and the ambience around the bar was wonderful. As the afternoon wore on into early evening, the sun came out and the doors were wide open with people inside and out. Musicians started to play and the atmosphere went up another notch. Around teatime we had to leave and it was with a heavy but very contented heart that we left this magical pub in the most beautiful of towns. The views of Bantry Bay are stunning and they go on for miles and miles. I will be back very soon!

Had a fantastic night here. Johnno leading the music but anyone could play and sing. The bar has a spare guitar. Lots of traditional songs and plenty of singing.

We were passing here recently walking back to our hotel when we heard some music coming from it. It was a number of old guys on their guitars and sounded good. It was 10pm when we went in and almost 2am when we left!!
The place was buzzing with the singing from the guys, the chat around the place. The barman was friendly and the crowd very varied in age and all having a good time

After two different weeklong guided tours of Ireland for the sights, food, and, of course, looking for the perfect pint, I am prepared to say, on 24 June, 2019, about 5:15pm, a pint of Guinness, served at this fine humble establishment, has come as close to this lofty goal as may be possible without trying every pub in the country. As I think back to that moment, I have no issues whatsoever is saying it was the PERFECT PINT. Bravo. Well done.

C'est un lieu que nous connaissons depuis plusieurs années maintenant. A chaque fois que arrivons à Glengarriff, nous passons faire un tour pour voir nos amis musiciens et Bernard, le patron du pub.C'est un homme très sympathique.Arrêtez vous, vous ne serez pas déçu....
