We held a small wake (17 people) in the function area at the back of the venue. The service was very friendly and efficient. Definitely meet all our expectations in every way. Easy parking was a plus.

We held an end of season event for our football team here and it surpassed expectations. Great service, friendly staff, and the private hire back room is a lovely little location, with everyone saying how nice and modern it looked. We will definitely look to host more events here, great location and easy to get to. Highly recommend.

Danny and Jenny run a smooth operation with wonderful staff. Excellent service, always. Great range of cocktails, gins & vodkas. Specialist draught beers and lagers but also great bottled beers. Pre- ordered charcutteri is superb. Throughout the pandemic, when they were allowed to open, strict guidelines were adhered to.

What a find. We fancied a quick couple of Sunday pints, before going for an Indian (at Shampan, next door but one). Danny and team were great hosts. As a Northerner we think Southerners cant do proper beer. Well Danny prove me wrong. Great couple of Kentish Ales from local breweries. Well kept, well poured, very good. The Bolthole have put a lot of thought and design into the pub. It has a real ambience, and the space out the back (the Snug) would be great for private party.

My first time at the Bolt Hole but it won't be my last. My husband, son and I went this lunchtime. The ice cold coffee was delicious and so refreshing. The sandwiches were fresh, on "proper" bread and tasted really good. I had the carrot cake and it was the best carrot cake I'd had in a long time. It was really good value for money too. The staff are attentive without being disturbing. Superb hygiene there too.

The team were amazing! They have a small event space called “The Snug” & it was Such a great place to hold my sisters birthday! The staff were very attentive and helped me turn my booking around with only 24 hrs notice! Would highly recommend for gatherings!

Visited The Bolthole last night and had to change our table to outside due to the new Covid restrictions. My group were expecting to be cold and we all took blankets with us, how wrong were we. The area was lovely and cosy with the heaters and there was no need for coats let alone blankets! This charming Micropub was completely Covid safe with a fantastic atmosphere and attentive, friendly staff. Would definitely recommend this as a perfect Tier 2 venue.

I visited The Bolthole for a wake and will definitely be returning. The owners Jen & Dan were so accommodating and welcoming and couldn’t do enough for everyone. The pub itself is spotlessly clean and extremely friendly. I will certainly be back and would recommend it to anyone looking for a welcoming, friendly, happy and relaxed atmosphere.

Had a lovely afternoon tea with friends yesterday and we were treated so well. We had a table booked in the new ‘snug’ and were able to really relax and enjoy ourselves. The gin cocktails were amazing (we tried a few!) and the afternoon tea really delicious. Not to mention down to earth, lovely people that served us! So lucky to have this place on my doorstep

Had afternoon tea in the air conditioned snug bar for a birthday celebration on a very hot day. We were made to feel very welcome, we felt safe, the social distancing measures that have been put in place are excellent, they are subtle and do not distract from the ambiance of the Bolthole. The afternoon tea was lovely; delicious sandwiches, cakes and scones, with a choice of drinks to go with them. A great afternoon, we were well looked after, will definitely book again to go back.
