Every day the money goes to a different charity, such a beautiful place, great coffee and cake. Definitely recommend!

Wonderful atmospheric walk through woodland to see vast swathes of bluebells and other woodland plants. The free guide is easy to follow with colour coded walks of various lengths. Numbers on the plan were repeated at the actual location along the walk making it easy to see where you were. Although through unpaved woodland many of the trails. Large free car park was a very short walk from the entrance to the farm. And unlike many attractions you didn’t have to pay to enter to access the loos

While visiting family over the Easter weekend, we went on the bluebell walk . Great to see plenty of bluebell’s and great to be at one with nature and to keep fit .
Younger children will like this to burn off excess energy and to also see some animalsas well . Great for being socially distant if your still concerned about covid .

The signs advertised there are things are in open nothing open very misleadinglll! Especially the charity big mot as my friends say it’s going to pay the gardeners!!

Directional signs are only put out when the walk is open. Any other advertising will always contain the opening dates. Please let me know where you found a sign saying we were open in January.
I do hope you are able to enjoy a visit whilst we are open.

Wed's summer opening of Bates Gardens. Great find, extention of bluebell centre. All additional facilities open . Pre book on website

I have now been here twice, first time to see the carpet of white woodland Anenomies and then again for the bluebells.
This is well organised with plenty of parking and picnic space but you do have to pre-book. The staff are all volunteers and doing a fab job.
The path is level and not particularly muddy or water logged. There are plenty of benches to sit and rest or take it in the woodland beauty.
There are a couple of ponds and just the sound of birds.

What a jem of a place. The blue bell walk was amazing, it was peaceful and the sun was shining. A haven of rest. I have never seen such a beautiful carpet of bluebells.
I have a mobility problem and found it very easy to walk round. Plenty of benches to sit on. Definitely recommend it.

Relax and be mindful , this beautiful tranquil woodland is here for us all thanks to the dedication by John, his family and helpers.
Take time to slowly absorb the nature and all its occupants. I could happily live in the woods and be at home with every plant, flower, wildlife and insects.
Sit quietly, listen and absorb everything.
I cannot wait to be there again.
So many charities are helped and appreciative.
Sheer bliss .

Are dogs allowed on a he farm and on the bluebell walk?

We do welcome all dogs and they come in a great variation of sizes and colours from the smallest to a large black Afgan Hound I saw yesterday. We ask that they are always kept on a lead to avoid disturbing the wildlife in the Bluebell Wood and the sheep and cattle on the Farm Walks. We provide dog waste bags at the start of the Arlington Bluebell Walk and waste containers at various points of the Walk. Enjoy your visit.
Are you open end of March? Are bluebells in blood?

Sorry Alan for this delay in replying to you but only just found your question! Bluebells are not in flower in March, thus we are only open for five weeks each year, when we expect the white wood anemones followed by the bluebells to be in flower. This year we open on Thursday 11 April every day 10.00am to 5.00pm until Sunday 19 May. Further details can be viewed on our website.
