I planned to see this place during my 3 day stay in Mashhad.
Personally I feel a special kind of respect towards Nader Shah because I've read about him in history books, so I wanted to see his tomb and learn a bit more about him.
He had been buried in a different place at first but time had destroyed the original tomb and this place was designed during Pahlavi reign out of respect for this powerful ruler.
The design of this place is actually very innovative and while inside, you can read about it. There are many informative signs on the walls (all in Persian) and there's a very big metal statue placed on top of the building depicting Bader Shah and 3 soldiers helping him during war. (Going to war was the only thing he loved to do in his lifetime)
The architect and the sculptor who designed this place were actually some of the best Iranian artists of the time.
It takes around 40 minutes to see the whole place. The tomb is located in a nice garden and there's a tiny gallery too where you can see some artifacts from Nader's time.
The neighborhood is somehow crowded and it's best to take a taxi or call an internet taxi to get to this place specially if you are visiting in summer.

Nader Shah Tomb is a building in the Naderi Garden Museum complex in Mashhad designed and built in memory of Nader Shah Afshar in 6 years by Houshang Seyhoun. The Tomb is located in the central part of the Nader Shah Complex, with the statue of Nader Shah on horseback along with a number of its soldiers mounted on a high volume of stone. Moreover, this complex contains two museums, One of them is the Arms Museum of different periods of Iranian history and another is the Museum of Weapons and Works of Nader Shah.

Not a big garden and a museum, yet it worth a visit. The architecting of the museum and the sculpture are world class. There is a demographic room next to the museum which gives you a brief and sufficient information about Afshar dynasty and Nader Shah as well.

its location is good and accessible. you should pay 25000 rials for Iranian and 150000 rials for foreigners as a ticket price and i think it is fair.
there is a shopping center also that sells handicrafts of local people.
architecture of Tomb is so amazing. it is the sculpture of Nadir Shah and his soldiers.
it is located in center of park that you can relax in the shadows of trees.

This tomb is located in a small park and there is a small fee to enter. Hardly any people around so you will have the whole place to yourself and be done in 15 minutes. So apart from the tomb and a massive statue there is a museum of sorts. He was one of the more powerful rulers and lived in the 1700's. Ok for a half hour tour. A shop at the end staffed by a very disinterested lady. Can't call it a souvenir shop really. But the lady needs cheering up or replaced.

we all know enough about the king and its statue, but standing beside it and look it at close range is something else.
there is a museum inside the building that is not 100% relevant but its interesting enough to check it once
