Parumala Church is a pilgrim centre under the malankara orthodox Syrian Church. Well maintained place for prayer and meditation. There are two chapels on campus. One is the main Church in the middle of the campus and the other small one that is used by parumala Thirumeni for residential purposes situated at the border of the compound.

Most serene atmosphere of the Church inspiring. Intercessionary prayers is that believers flocked into this Church.
Parumal Mar Gregorios is the saint of Orthodox Church, headquartered in Kottayam. Bishop is referred as Kochu Thirumeni. Perumal is conducted on 1st and 2nd of November, every year.
Nearby Orthodox Church at Niranam is established by St. Thomas. Should visit this Church while at Niranam.

St. Peter's and St. Paul's Orthodox Church commonly know as the Parumala Church, is a place of pilgrimage, a Syrian Christian religious school and venue for liturgical functions. Parumala as a pilgrimage centre came into prominence after Saint Geevargese Mar Gregorios, popularly known as Parumala Thirumeni canonized as the first Christian Saint of India.

Parumala is a small stretch of land on the shores of the river Pampa. Malankara Metropolitan Joseph Mar Dionysius wanted to establish a seminary in the area. A two-acre plot of land was donated by Arikupurathu Mathen Karnavar to the holy see of antioch and it's descendants where Azhippura, was constructed. This was used for teaching church functionaries for the orthodox church , including providing lessons in Syriac. Dionysios eventually passed responsibility for the seminary to Metropolitan Mar Gregorios in order to carry on the Syriac teaching sessions more efficiently and also to help him in other church matters.

Very calm and quiet church with western architecture design. The church is named by St. Gegorious, situated in the banks of Pampa river.

Cathedral dedicated in the name of Parumala Thirumeni ..St Greorious of Parumala. Parumala is a small town near Thiruvallur. The Church is governed by the Malankara Syrian Orthodox Christians. It houses the Resting place of Mar Gregorious , The Parumala Thirumeni. Your a prayers are heard and you get divine blessings and blessings of St Gregorious. People light candles and pray at the Tomb to invoke the Blessings. A sacred Church a with Divine blessings. Peopleall life irrespective of Caste, religion and State or Country visit this Church. There is also a Seminary within the premises. All orthodox Church prayers and Mass is performed here. Holy Qurubanas are attended by large crowds. It is better to be a part of Sandhya Namaskaram (Evening Prayers)... Do enlist your loved ones for Holy Qurubanas at this Church by paying a nominal fee.. God Bless

A church with a peculiar circular design which can accommodate around 2000 people. Very spacious and well designed without losing the spiritual atmosphere

St. Gregorios, the first saint of Indian Orthodox Church, takes his eternal rest in this church and millions of people come to this church to pray at the shrine. Recently, way back from Trivandrum I went to the church with my friend and by the time we reached there it was about 10 PM but we managed to go inside to offer prayers. I have been to the church before too but this time I was surprised to see a family and few others offering prayers at that time of the night. A good number of people irrespective of caste, creed and terrain come here to offer prayers to "Parumela Thirumeni". The church is situated in a vast compound and is an architectural marvel

A splendid experience of spirituality, always like to visit the place.
Fridays are important for prayers but I prefer other days since the atmosphere will be calm and composed.
