That’s a bargain, for 60 baht you get to see a heck of a lot of turtles of all ages! I totally recommend.

About 30/40 minutes is what you need to see these turtles in different tank varying in their ages.
They are all very cute and worth going to see.

This is a great place to visit!! The number of turtles there are so many, and at different stages of growth. It is quite amazing!
It takes a little finding as it's on a naval base, and you'll need your passport with you to enter. (You might be able to use a photo ID, but they asked us for passport.)
This was certainly a highlight of our trip.

Cute turtles grouped together by each month they were born. The eggs are brought here so the turtles stand a chance to survive. There are volunteers to care for them.

The most amazing place, and extremely fair pricing for tickets.
We met the most knowing, kind and friendly man, who told us about the work they are doing with the turtles. 🐢
He really understood how to involve the children (aged 2-5) and we were in every way moved and amazed by the story of the place and the important work that they are doing, saving turtles one at the time 🐢♥️

We went for this as a small activity on a cloudy rainy day. Randomly, we got an informal tour with one of the staff that takes care of the turtles and got the whole story - interesting for adults and kids, so it’s recommended to ask one of the staff to show you around. Obviously, considering the price, you should not expect a fancy aquarium, it’s just a simple attraction that you can go spend an hour on, have a coffee break in the cafeteria and support a good cause.

We had a marvellous two hours here, with our children of 19, 17 and 12. At THB 60 per person it is affordable for a family .
Lots has already been said about the turtles themselves- we were lucky to see them being fed their pellets (about 11am) which added an extra bit of interest. Unfortunately very little is in English and even the few Thai signs are so faded you can’t even make out the pictures. This makes it feel a bit neglected.
Clean and friendly cafe on site, selling ice lollies, drinks and cakes, for very reasonable prices. Sit inside or under the trees outside. Toilets with paper!!
Other things on site are two “sculptures “ on the beach made from plastic bottles, and one in progress (a manatee) at the centre. These are clever. There is also a displaced boat/memorial to the members of the navy who died in the 2004 tsunami.

Lieu agréable au sein d'une base navale.
Les nombreux bassins nous permettent de découvrir le développement des tortues de 2 semaines à 15 ans. A faire;

Visite de ce centre de conservation qui mérite d'être visité. Vous ferez un geste pour aider ces petites et grosses tortues. L'entrée est dérisoire et vous pourrez faire un don si vous le souhaitez.
