This limestone cave is about 4 km long in a mountain range in Satun province. There are fossils of elephants (the genus Stegodon) and rhinos of the Pylosocene period inside the cave. This is the major attraction in Satun Geopark. To visit this cave visitors will have to go to the Thung Wa subdistrict administration organisation and book the tour in at least one day in advance. There is also an elephant and geological museum that tourist can visit. A minimum of 8 pax is required for the tour. However if you don’t have enough people you can pay for a min of 8 pax to go. All visitors will be rowed by a guide. Safety equipment like life vests, hard helmets and torch lights will be provided. Food and drinks are strictly prohibited. No littering in that area. This is a three hour tour and not for claustrophobics and nyctophobics. Upon exiting the cave you will be transferred from your canoe and enjoy a boat ride through a mangrove forest to Tha Aoi pier. There are pretty purple pink jelly fish to be spotted in the river. A must visit trip for cave enthusiasts.
