Hello, I know this is from 2018 - but I have to answer you back. I just stayed there for 15 days, and you are worried about your children getting bored ? There are 35 children living there, do you think they are getting bored ? I live on Koh mook, now for 4 years, and I have never seen the children here getting bored. They play with nature, they play with each other, and NOT with any electronic stuff to ruin their childhood. I often hear, when I meet tourists, the sentence " we are getting bored " how is that possible ? Most tourists in this area here, stay for 2 or 3 nights, and they "flying" off to the next island, where they stay for 2 nights, and so on. Looking for what ? When I listen to tourists meeting other tourists, they talk and talk about where they have been and where they are going. And when one from the first group stops to breath, the other group takes over. Actually saying the same : " we have been...bla bla bla, and are going to... bla bla bla " Never having time to settle, find out WHO lives there, how is life amongst locals, or just finding out how this island looks on the other side..To me, this way of travelling is stressful, and has nothing to do with exploring. When I go on our small ferry, I also see tourists in the high season sitting there, either sleeping or reading books. Not at all looking out on this beautiful scenery we are passing...You could leave your children alone for some of your holiday time, and see what they will find out to do - and watch them being happy ! They will definetly not be bored....Kind regards Lene

ciao io sono stata 2 anni fa a ko bulon, ti posso dire che l'isola è molto piccola ma pace,tranquillità assicurata, meravigliosa quando il mare e tranquillo ma se becchi il tempo un po cosi dipende che tipi siete vi potreste anche annoiare, sull'isola c'e giusto l'indispensabile.. come strutture ricettive ti posso dire che ci sono solo bungalow partendo da 10 euro per persone di facile adattabilità a ogni forma di animale/insetto e bungalow più belli ma molto cari, buone vacanze!!!

Dear Sue, wifi was only available at the restaurant of the resort. When we arrived, we had no booking and just asked if they had a free bungalow. We were probably lucky to find one since it was the week of New Year's Eve. Generally though, we have never pre booked anywhere during all the years we have been traveling in Thailand and never had a problem. Anyway, I don't think there is an e-mail but calling is a good idea since even if their English isn't perfect (everyone speaks a little bit in Thailand) they can always understand if you tell them date of arrival-departure and a name. Ciao noi abbiamo soggiornato al Panka resort Bulon, 1000 bath a notte con colazione, cottage non deluxe è meglio (vuol dire il bungalow in basso e non nella parte alta), bagno al quanto povero senza lavandino, ma fattibile per il soggiorno di alcuni giorni. la spiaggia principale si raggiunge attraversando l'isola con una passeggiata di circa 10/15 minuti. Hello.....How can you imagine there will be no boats ? How do you think the people living there gets to the mainland and back ? And asking about snorkelling, you will find the answer on google. Not difficult....
