Huai Mae Khamin Waterfall is beautiful. Also the waterfalls are good for swimming. The water was clean. The campsite was well organized. The waterfalls are a short hike from parking lot. The restrooms were well maintained.

Huai Mae Khamin Waterfall It is located at the park office on the edge of the Srinakarin Dam lake. Huai Mae Khamin Waterfall is divided into 7 levels, each level having different height and beauty. The park has made a walking path for going up to see each level of the waterfall and is also a nature trail. It is in a very beautiful condition. All over the shady area with various forest plants. The waterfall flows from the headwaters of the Kala Mountain Range, which is a dry evergreen forest. to the east of the park and flows into the reservoir Srinakarin Dam It is considered one of the most beautiful waterfalls in Kanchanaburi.

Huai Mae Khamin Waterfall is suitable for camping. There are many tent locations along the stream. Along the foothills to see the view of the dam below, the journey is very convenient. Only about 40 km from Erawan Waterfall, but will see a beautiful waterfall with 7 levels and can travel on 2 routes: cross the car raft in the Srinakarin Dam or drive along the natural waterfall route.

Beautiful waterfall, cool atmosphere. When walking up a bit tired. The water is cool and fun to play. 3rd and 4th floor waterfalls are beautiful. But me and my friends play together on the 3rd floor. enough people.

Ce parc naturel est un fantastique endroit, loin de tout, où il est possible de découvrir une incroyable série de chute d'eau qui s'étend sur 3 kilomètres.
Le chemin est praticable aisément, et suit la rivière pour accéder facilement aux points les plus spectaculaires.
Le site vous fournit gratuitement une horde de moustiques affamés qui vous accompagneront à chacun de vos pas et verront en vous une station service généreuse pour assouvir leur besoins biologiques.
Sinon, le site est visuellement époustouflant.

ธรรมขาติของป่าได้สร้างสายน้ำตกที่สวยงาม แม้นต้องใช้ความพยายามอย่างมากในการมา ถนนลาดยางตลอดเส้นมีทางชันๆลาดขึ้นลาดลง(บิดหมดปลอก)ให้ทดสอบใจประกอบโค้งมากมายอันหลากหลายแต่ก็คุ้มยิ่งกว่าคุ้ม แม้นช่วงนี้ไม่ให้ลงเล่นน้ำแค่ยืนหายใจที่จุดชมวิวเฉยๆสวรรค์บนดินดีๆนี่เอง เขียวๆแบบสุดลูกหูลูกตา ยังไงก็จะมาอีก

Wir besuchten diesen weitgehend unbekannten und ziemlich abgelegenen Naionalpark im Rahmen einer Thailand-Rundreise im Dezember 2019. Der Park liegt ca. 60km nördlich des stark besuchten, doch ebenfalls sehenswerten Erawan-Parks und damit gut 120 Km nordwestlich von Khanchanaburi. Das ist eine abgelegene Gegend in der Nähe des riesigen örtlichen Stausees. Die mühsame und umständliche Reise dorthin lohnt sich nicht nur, sie war damals für uns der eigentliche Grund für eine weitere Reise nach Thailand. Auch wenn wir aufgrund eines Fehlers in unserem Navi einen großen Umweg (einschließlich Autofähre über den Stausee) zu fahren hatten und nur wenige Stunden vor Ort waren, war es für uns als Wasserfall-Fans ein absoluter Traum. Mae-Khamin ist ein Naturwunder und ein filigranes Kunstwerk, dass fast surreal wirkt. Wer jemals die Möglichkeit und die Chance hat dort hinzureisen sollte es tun, aber anders als wir genügend Zeit mitbringen. Ideal wäre es am Vormittag dort zu sein, doch auch am Nachmittag war es noch überwältigend schön. Es stimmt auch, dass kaum jemand da hin fährt, aber wenn man schon in der Provinz Khanchanaburi ist, darf man diese Perle nicht verpassen.

wie die meisten hier schon geschrieben haben ... wunderschön. beeindruckend. ein erlebnis für die ganze familie. sehr ruhig - wir haben mehr als einen halben tag dort verbracht und vielleicht 10 andere menschen getroffen.

Die Anfahrt ist zwar länger als zum Erawan Wasserfall, aber es lohnt sich. Kaum Touristen an den Fällen, alles schön angelegt, traumhafte Landschaft mit Blick auf den Stausee.

Sind hierhergekommen aufgrund der positiven Bewertungen. Es hat sich absolut gelohnt. Der Wasserfall ist einzigartig und fällt über 7 Stufen hinab. Der Weg ist gut befestigt und leicht zu begehen. Unbedingt. Badesachen mitnemen und in einer der Stufen baden. Ein super schönes Erlebnis. Es sind kaum Touristen hier. Ein Besuch ist absolut lohnenswet

I just rented a car and drove from Kanchanburi to the falls. its 3 hours drive and the road is stunning. traffic is light and pleasant. in general, the best way to discover Kanchanaburi-Sangkhlaburi region is with a car.

I want to have this experience, I've been trying to book lodging online but this park doesn't seem to be on the Thai NPS website. Might I ask how you booked your camping? Did you just go in person to book it? Thanks!!

Unless you are travelling on a Thai holiday or long weekend, you don't need to book this, you can just turn up. The place is practically empty.
Bonjour, j'aimerai savoir si la route est asphaltée et, tout du moins, s'il est possible de s'y rendre en scooter ?
Quel est le prix d'entrée pour les Fahrangs ? le billet est il couplé avec l'entrée des chutes d'Erawan ?

You can rent a scooter from Kanchanaburi, you might be able to rent one from Erawan which is closer but I doubt it. Better to rent from Kanchanaburi town. Road is good all the way there.
300 baht entrance fee for foreigners.
My French isn't great so sorry if I didn't understand correctly.

From the bottom level to the top level a fit person could walk it in 45 minutes. It's about 2.5km. But nobody would do that as you wouldn't be stopping to enjoy the nature or waterfall. So a more realistic time for a fit person would be 1 and a half hours. Older or less fit people could take anything up to 3-4 hours.
Are we allowed to bring our own tent. If yes, how much is the charge? Thanks for the answer ;)

Yes, you can take your own tent to any National Park. Price is usually 30 baht.

The cabins go for 800baht to 1000baht and sleep up to 10? The camping is most likely really cheap because they have a lot of room. You will get charged Farang prices but its worth it. Just as pretty as Erawan less hiking and 1/10th the tourist. The view is also amazing from where you camp looking down on to the lake.
