‪Definitely the biggest set up in the area. A beautiful chateau to look around, but we were short of time and were only really interested in tasting the wines
Very modern set up, very experienced and knowledgeable lady doing their tastings, for those who want more information
Tasted through their Bergerac red, whites and rosés but it was their sweet Monbazillac wines, which really stood out. Lots of back vintages available to pick up in the shop‬

‪A fantastic visit, informative museum to start, beautiful chateau in a gorgeous setting with lovely views. And then the best lunch on the terrace, delicious food accompanied by the amazing Monbazillac wine... whats not to love! Also love the fact the estate is now owned and run by the local wine cooperative and they do a great job ‬

‪Great place to visit. The wine journey experience is fabulous - really easy to understand explanation of how wine is made with an overview of the Bergerac wine region and some great videos which give insight into how the co-operative is run.

The Chateau looks amazing, as others have said there isn’t much inside but it’s still well maintained and had some ‘interesting’ art exhibits when we were there.

We enjoyed a drink in the sunshine nestled in a deck chair and then a quick wander around the shop and your entrance fee (we only paid 8 euros each as it was heritage open weekend in France) also includes an opportunity taste of one wine - we tried their world renown sweet wine was lovely.

A lovely place to visit.‬

‪Lieu agréable et reposant, explications de la vinification très bien. Nous avons déjeuner sous les arbres avec la vue sur le château, cuisine au top vous conseille le burger à l'efilochee de canard et le rizzoto de gambas au chorizo.

‪Great views, beautiful chateau, excellent wine tasting with the guide.

Disappointed that we couldn't have lunch. If you do want to eat, please book beforehand. When you buy the tickets they don't mention the restaurant or whether there is availability.

Leaving at 1.30 in France to find somewhere to eat when you have had an appetite inducing sample of the beautiful wine is a disappointing end to what would have been a five star experience.

We wanted to spend more money and have food and wine, but had no choice but to take our custom elsewhere.‬

‪Très belle visite, des explications sur le Façon de récolter le raisin très ludique, le château en visite libre, des belles présentation, mais peu de mobilier, mais cela est quand même très agréable.‬

‪Disappointed - king time visitor‬

‪We have been visiting the chateau for years, and have been paying customers to the cafe and winery on each visit. You are no longer allowed to wander the grounds - you either have to pay for a tasting or you cannot enter. We saw this change and immediately left. So disappointed.‬

‪Entrée payante, même pour le jardin. On nous a dit payant depuis 4 ans , hors c'est faux ..ça fait 2 ans. Nous avons vu plein de personnes repartir. Le parking était vide, même en plein après-midi, nous avons vu des gens faire le tour du château, par l'extérieur avec la voiture..honteux..‬

‪Un domaine très beau et à taille humaine.
La première partie sur le vin est très intéressante et instructive.
La seconde avec le château et les jardins est fantastique et nous plonge bien dans l'univers.
Seul bémol, le manque de mobilier et les pannes des jeux pour enfants en sous sol.
La dernière partie avec une dégustation offerte permet de finir la visite sur une note agréable.

Bonus :
Le parking ombragé et très proche.‬

‪La visite commence par une partie très pédagogique et accessible sur la vigne, le cépage et l’élaboration du vin. C’est très intéressant et très bien construit de manière ludique et interactive.
La deuxième partie est la visite du Château qui est malheureusement bien vide mais qui présente l’histoire du chateau, de la famille et de la région.
La dernière partie est la dégustation. Si on est nombreux on peut prendre une entrée à 11€ avec 1 vin et partager les verres.
Les explications données pendant la dégustation sont très riches et aident à comprendre ce qu’on goûte.
Le plus, les soirées organisées durant l’été !‬
