Really nice atmosphere in the cinema. The staff were friendly at both the tills and the drop box. Very quick service and good value for money in terms of both ticket prices and concessions. Only issue for me was that I wasn’t a particularly big fan of the seats in the cinema screens, but it’s not a major issue or anything that greatly takes away from the experience. Would recommend!

Excellent seats and film quality

I regularly visit this cinema with both friends and family and have to say it's always got a good selection of movies. They do cheap tuesday and also have student discount available (must have ID).
They also have a good food drink selection however, the prices can be a bit high (like most cinemas) but its worth it. I reccomend the nachos with cheese, salsa and jalapeños.
The seats are comfortable and I reccomend seeing the IMAX screenings as they are more immersive and enjoyable. The staff is friendly and the screening rooms are very big, clean and well-lit.

This is a great cinema with lot's going for it. They have a lot of early morning films, which is really handy. Cineworld at Dalton park mainly have films starting around lunchtime mid week so is not as convenient as this Cinema.
They usually have a great range of movies and showing times.
Seats are comfortable and the toilets are really clean. They have a good range of drinks and snacks and have offers some days with reduced ticket prices.
Staff are very friendly too.
My only concerns are that often there doesn't seem to be enough staff working and as tickets, drinks and snacks are sold at the same tills it can take a long time to get served sometimes. I've often paid the extra and booked on line to avoid the queues. My advice is to either get your tickets in advance or leave sufficient time before the start of the film.
I recently visited to see the Invisible man and after choosing my seat I was asked if I wanted 2 seats. I was standing on my own, was there minutes before the start of the film and had chosen my 1 seat. I almost replied that I was there to see the film Invisible Man and didn't actually have one with me!
Unless he was doing a whoopy goldberg from the Film 'Ghost' and could see someone I couldn't.
Apart from that I enjoyed the film, which had me in suspense from start to finish. It was a very interesting take on the genre and had a clever ending.

Really good.Brilliant cast.Dev Pattell was an excellent choice for a lead part.The whole cast were excellent.A great film to see for everyone.

We took a 16 and 17 year old to this cinema and found even though they are both still at school they had to pay adult prices, yet the 16 year old infront of us paid a student rate because he was at 6th form college and therefore classifed as a student. Just not fair. The staff were quite agressive when we queried this with them. Then 2 cokes and 2 coffees cost £13 - really expensive drinks. Would not go again.

We got there dead on time, went to use ticket machine but it didn't take cash, the queue to pay where most people were buying food and ice cream was 10 minutes long, I asked a male staff member at till if I could pay as our film was starting, he unhelpfully said one queue for everything. After I paid for our tickets I was told there was a problem with the temperature in room 8 and if we were too cold we could get a refund if it was within 20 minutes of start of film. It was freezing especially after an hour but my grandchildren wanted to see all of the film. I’ll not be back with them, it’s badly managed and not warm enough to watch a full film. This is why most people head to the Metrocentre, never had problems there.

Theatre staff friendly. Prices a bit steep ...£8.25 / ticket. Cats film - very average. Cinema clean, toilets fine, canny chap on the tills. Picture, sound spot on... a nice empty theatre. 5pm ish show. Parking at St Mary.s carpark rather steep ...paid £4 for the pleasure. Traffic a bit manic mind. Xmas sales ...

Arrived to be told downstairs foyer is closed and to buy tickets/food etc you have to go upstairs to a small stall with lots of staff doing nothing. We eventually were served and asked for a large popcorn and a large coke. The staff turned round and scooped popcorn from a large bin bag on the floor! We did enjoy the film however.

Went to go and see Joker for the 10th time when i was asked for ID (the movie is a 15)I am 15 and clearly do not have an ID as I don’t drive, when I was horrified when the man proceeded to not let me in after I tried to explain that I was unavailable to provide ID even when I had seen the movie multiple time so there was no issue. The man was so rude about it and I am not happy with the treatment I received and do not recommend going to this cinema as they are unreasonable and the Dalton Park Cineworld have way nicer staff.
